Thank you all, this place cheers me up considerably :)

I've spent the last maybe, 2 hrs crying on my mum, feeling a bit low. And I hate to say that most of it is caused by the bloke. I work next to the airport, and if he calls me expecting me to drop everything and give him a lift home tomorrow, I will not be obliging. I'm not a bloody doormat. See, the whole time he's been away, it's been whinge whinge whinge non stop. Not once has he asked how I am, how my days been, nothing like that. Then he gets his work finished early, gets a day to take as leave in Rio, and can not be bothered to say hello or anything. Makes me feel really special :sigh: Especially since he knows I have the Irrational Fear of planes...

Weigh in - I put on a lb, but that's ok. I don't really care tonight to be honest. I'm more concerned about planes going missing.

Cheesecake - Wasn't too bad, family scoffed it without grumbling, even though its low fat! I'd make it slightly thinner next time I think though.

Interview
- I have no idea what to wear, but I know where I'm going to, so that's a good start. I also have no idea what I'm going to do to get the afternoon off work... Hmmm.

Tomorrow is a new day, and one that I look forward to. Sorry for whinging people... I'll be back cheerful soon, I promise. X

Good luck with the interview chick and hope you get time off without too much bother..xxxx

Thanks Nikki & Linz :)

New day today.

Breakfast - Poached eggs on toast
Lunch - quiche [I knew I'd be eating that all week haha]
Tea - quorn bolognese
Snacks - yogurt, banana and apple.
Syn free - Saving these for later as I feel I may need chocolate.

The HR manager at work requested his monthly reports two weeks early, so I didnt have the time to investigate the anomolies. I said in the email with the attachment that I had not had time to investigate, but would do asap and refer back.
I came in to an email this morning angrily asking why these anomolies have occurred.... Jeez, gimme a chance!!!

*sigh* No scoffing today. SW works, I know it does, I just need to stick to the rules..!

I think its an inbuilt thing with men
being a bit on the shelfish side, I don't even think they now they've done it, if you were to mention to him why he didn't even ask you if you were ok he'd look at you like your an alien encounter haha!!!
they just don't get it....

Have a great day Jen xx

No scoffing? What rule is this!? Im in trouble :(

Good luck with the interview Jen! Hope it goes well, I'm sure you will do great.

Sorry to hear that the world of men has not changed and they are as selfish as ever. To be fair let us all hope that he has brought you back a nice present!

haha, no chocolate/pizza/junky scoffage, healthy shizz is ok Katie :D

Just got a text saying thanks for getting milk.
:|
At least he's home. That's something.

Hurrah, now I can concentrate on the other thing this afternoon and not worrying about planes crashing...

:)

Will update after le Interview x

Hope the interview went well chick

xx

Le Interview was rather bizarre... It ended up happening in the pub over the road from the offices, as there were no meeting rooms available. The guy said the project manager was unavailable, and he himself didn't know a great deal about the role. He had the wrong CV, and the pay is too low for what I am looking for...

But... practice run :)

Foodwise, I have been a bit odd today. Due to the emotional turmoil [haha, self imposed I know] that I placed myself in, I struggled to eat. Shocking, huh.
Breakfast - Mother made me have poached eggs on toast, to make sure I had a proper meal.
I left work at lunchtime, so I had a bowl of porridge with nutella at 11ish, this was 9 syns. No snacking at work. Not even fruit.
Managed to avoid the lure of KFC and cakeshops in town, and got a text to say would I go round for my tea. So I did, and he'd got the Asda takeaway style curries... Which was ok for the rice, that was free, and he picked my favourite tandoori chicken curry, which he also said was the lowest calorie and fat over all... He's trying. It was 15.5 syns, but it was really tasty and I enjoyed it.

I must eat more of the free food.. the superfree veggies especially. I want a good loss next week. :)

Dont be stealing my nikki fool. :D
jokes, take her! She didnt give me my jelly tots :p

Glad it went ok depsite all that mixups and glad the OH is home safe so you can stop fretting. Mine is off tomorow and i am not happy!

No jelly tots? Pfft, sorry Nikki, not interested now :p
Unless you have white mice instead... I'm rather fond of them now. :) haha

Time'll fly by Katie, I promise you :) Absence makes the doddley wotnot fonder and guilts the menfolk into present buying...
Unless he's tight with his pennies. In which case... you end up waiting 3 to 5 weeks for the postcard to come through...!!

Hmm. I feel like today is a bit of a food challenge..!

I had shredded wheat and a banana for breakfast, that's HxA and HxB done.
At work, I have a banana, yogurt, apple for snacks.

Lunch is the last of the quiche + a jacket potato with ham salad consisting of lettuce, cucumber and tomato. Not a very INTERESTING salad but it'll do.
Tea - We're out tonight, I am being wined and dined, at least I am pretty sure he's paying..haha. I'm 99% certain it will be the Thai restaurant. I don't know what is on offer for a starter, but I will have something. I'll keep to the grilled meat, chicken skewers or something? And for main, I'm having beef in an oyster sauce. I can't find a specific syn value for this, but if chicken in an oyster sauce from the chinese is 4.5 syns, and the beef would be a free food... I'm counting 4.5 syns. Boiled rice to go aside this.

No dessert, we never get dessert :( haha

I have had what I am considering a Non Scale Victory.... I resisted the breakfast run at work - Everyone's got bacon butties, sausage and egg rolls... Ok, so I had my quiche early, but thats ok!!

I won't be about again til Sunday night, so have a great weekend everyone. Here's hoping I can stick to the plan :) I'll just tell him to get out the kitchen :) haha.

Bye!x

Well done on resisting the rolls......(oh, how I miss big greasy fatty breakfast rolls)!!!!

Hope you had a fab dinner and a smashin weekend..xx

He did indeed pay, and it was lush! I had beef in oyster sauce, and it was sooo good, and I actually stopped when I was full.... Which is so rare, the fella said "Is it ok?" haha. Cheeky get. Anyway, yes, much good food had!

The rest of the weekend has been mainly grand prix related. I spent a good whack of saturday cooking, and we had a shepherds pie, and apple crumble. Did a big breakfast this morning - tattie scones, toast, beans, eggs, bacon, ... I think that was it? and we polished off the rest of the lamb pie and crumble.

I just got home now to find that I didn't get the job I really wanted, so I am a little gutted, but hey ho. As Biker says "Plenty more where that came from".
It's the only job in that field that I have seen since I moved here in 2007, but I will listen to him and not let it get me down.

I had a good weekend - We decided on dates for le Holiday! Ok, so its only a long weekend in London, but that's perfect for me :D

Off to pamper myself with a deep-conditioning hair thing, then off to bed.

Gonna have to be super good this week, foodwise.

Hope you all had a good weekend!! xx
