I know, sometimes it's not easy when we want something so bad....like just a few pounds off!!

Had a laugh this morning. My friend has been very slowly working towards her 2st 7lbs award...this week she had just 1lb to lose to gain it. I weighed her...only 1/2lb off...she was gutted!! Then she said maybe she'd go to the loo again or better still if she took her bra off could she re weigh? I said, yes go for it!! Thankfully she was then 1lb down and got her award!! lol.

Well maybe you're not supposed to but nobody else was taking any notice so I said do it! It didn't seem to make any difference to the card reader because when the consultant looked to see who was due awards, her name was there. So the other reading must have been disregarded. The week I dipped down to 10.1 1/2...I jumped back on for another go because I said there must be some mistake!!

Grapes tasted nice bit sweet then usual

Yes it is a SW recipe from an old blog that I found years ago

Lentil bake

8OZ/227G RED LENTILS
3/4 PINT/450ML WATER
1 LARGE ONION
FRY LIGHT
120g STRONG CHEDDAR CHEESE or 160g REDUCED FAT CHEESE GRATED this is 4 X hex A
SMALL CARROT GRATED (OPTIONAL)
1 TSP MIXED HERBS
1 OR 2 EGGS
SALT & PEPPER TO TASTE.

COOK THE LENTILS IN THE WATER UNTIL SOFT, AND ALL THE LIQUID HAS BEEN ABSORBED. CHOP THE ONION, AND FRY IN FRY LIGHT UNTIL SOFT. COMBINE ALL THE INGREDIENTS AND PRESS INTO A 9" SANDWICH TIN LINED WITH BAKING PARCHMENT. BAKE AT 190OC/GAS 5/375OF FOR 30 MINUTES. SERVE HOT OR COLD. CUT INTO 8 WEDGES. 2 HUGE WEDGES WOULD BE USING YOUR HEA. VERY SAVOURY,SCRUMMY AND VERY FILLING!!!!

Well I made the quiche as per recipe and used 2 eggs...it was very densely lentils...was it definitely 227g? Tasted very nice though. I'm thinking less lentils and more eggs...I did use my soya cheese which doesn't melt like dairy. Here's a pic of my effort.
It just doesn't look like your tasty one.

That looks really dark compared to mine must be the soya cheese.

Did you use those small red lentils ?

Yes it is lentilly as it is a lentil bake as opposed to a quiche sorry if that wasn't clear.

I cut it into 8 wedges and freeze it so I can take it out for work lunches
