Lou's Diary - onwards and inwards!

Awww dudes, thanks for your good lucks... I feel like a fraud now though, as I couldn't get to a class today, I can't go tomorrow as normal as Marc is having teeth out under sedation so have to be with him / drive him home etc and stay overnight. He's having the other one done next Tuesday so same story again!!

I'm going to try and get to a Wednesday class, but it's a 6pm, and I don't finish work till 6pm.... 20 miles away!

Grrgh.

xx

Good news is...... I'VE GOT MY BIKE BACK, woopeeee. Am going to clock up another 6 miles shortly xxx

Good news on getting your bike back, bad news on WI. Is there another one you could go to instead of 6pm tomorrow? I think I would be likely to go off the rails a bit if I didn't have official WI hanging over my head:eek: but your probably far more controlled than me, altho I have been v. good the last 3 weeks excluding the wedding!!:p

x

Awwr don't worry about the WI, just business as usual with food and with your bike back it'll be a little plus for you :) Get out and enjoy the good weather.

Hiya, as I didn't know I couldn't get till wi until the day, it meant I've not gone mad etc (as I would have last week if I'd have known).

Hi everyone, lovely and sunny here, I've just got home from work. Should go out on my bike, but I've got a cold and feel crappy, unfortunatly crappy won't lose weight, so I'm going to get my sorry ar*e on that bike seat if it kills me, which it may just do as I can't breathe all that well??

Yippee, I'm now over half way on my cycling challenge, to be honest... I didn't think I'd keep it up this long. I've really noticed the difference, the first time I did it I stopped 3 or 4 times, today for the first time ever I did 6 miles with no stops in just under half an hour!!:character00182:

OMG well done Lou! Thats good going that. As you can see my walking hasn't taken off very well. But ive been spending lots of time gardening, cleaning and sorting after work so I suppose im still doing body magic but in other forms. Keep it up Lou. Your doing brill!xx

Thanks Niknaks, still quite suprised myself with it all. Gardening and cleaning etc is great for body magic, esp if you stick the radio on full blast and go for it.

I'm a day off today, still got silly cold though, can't quite decide what to do today, need to make my mind up else I'll end up wasting the day. Am off to do 6 miles in a few minutes, just wait for my breakfast to settle first.

Red day (yep, another!!)

well done Lou, you are doing brilliantly on the cycling, making me wanna get mine outta the garage! might have a look for it this weekend and see what sorta shape its in! Its to be lovely here too this weekend so might just be what the doctor ordered instead of sitting in beer gardens drinking strongbow which is quite likely!!!:8855:

well done lou :) bet you're feeling pretty good right now!

do you think the cycling is helping??? i need to get back to swimming and my wii fit. i was under a heart specialist for 6 months and was given the all clear about 3 weeks ago so i'm allowed to exercise now as they've decided there's nothing wrong with my heart. :)

Thanks both. I think exercise helps for 2 reasons - 1) it gets me out the house when i finish work at 2pm, therefore don't get bored and eat and 2) it does help with weight loss, but it took a while to show results on scales.

Also - an added bonus, I feel fantastic after I've been out and really pushed myself, I'm buzzing when I come home. A month ago the most exercise I did was walk to fridge and back!

Thursday - green day...
B: Pineapple and yogurt
S: Banana
L: Salad with rice and pasta (3 syns) and hifi bar (1B)
