Lyndzi's Diary - New Journey in Jan

Yesterday BGT

Had a great day yesterday went to WI and had a fab result then went to visit my Mum in the morning and walked the dogs down to the river with her and they had a lovely swim and I was considering jumping in with them it was sooooo warm.

Then to make the day even better we went to see Britains Got Talent @ NEC (my birthday present) it was great, but on a bad note... I ate -
*1/2 portion of chips
*2 x pieces of chicken (KFC)
*Corn on the Cob

I don't feel bad about it as I chose to have these things, I still felt in control (yippee). I did buy a tray of chips buy threw half of them away as I was full!!! (In the past me throwing food away would of been unheard off)
 
you did well and were very restained - just get straight back on the plan and you will be fine - we have to allow ourselves odd days off for birthdays etc - when we complete this plan we have to live in the real world- we can stop doing that - and only eating what you needed and not the whole portion is brilliant :)
 
Heey Lyndzi you were close to me then at the NEC!! i watched X-FACTOR there a few weeks ago.!!!

Ive had a bad day at the pub too, ooh well my own greedy fault.!

I loved it, it was in the new LG Arena. Very posh!
I only live about 30 mins from the NEC :)
 
Really we must meet up one day as i could get the train from new street there in less than 15 mins.!!

I was in the LG too.!

Not feeling to great today (feel abit down about eating Saturday night)...been good so far.
Breakfast - Choc Shake
Lunch - Choc Tetra
Tea - Choc Shake

At this rate I'll turn into chocolate (HA HA)

I still have another meal to have later, may make that a bar but will see how I feel later.

you seem to be right back on track now
I often put a spoonful of decaff coffee granules in with my choc shakes to make a mocha - I think its lush :)
 
Not my bubbly self iv got consipation already feel so bad, been in bed since 6pm.!

Just praying i go tonite, as my tummy is hard and feel so uncomfortable.!

you are doing better today so forget about satday now I HAVE !! LOL x
 
I'm constipated too, I really hate it asi'm such a wimp. Don't want to get the laxatives out ut may have too.
 
girls for the first time last week I bought glycerine suppositories - for me much better than a laxative but if I do need one I get movicol much more gentle - more expensive too but so worth it

as for the mocha depends on weather today it was cold with plenty of crushed ice
sometimes I do a hot one
often just use half a shake in a mug if hot and then I get what feels like an extra pack :):)
banana, vanilla are also nice in coffee

i am so stupid!!!!! I failed BIG tome on saturday. Had the inlaws around for a bbq and all was going well. I had a chicken salad and things were great. Then i have a couple of glasses of vodka and slim line tonic and it all went extremely wrong.

I ended up eating 1/2 a jacked potato, Burger, and crisps :( I still had my 4 litres of water but got on the scales on sunday and it said i had gained 3lb :( I seriously want to cry!!

I got back on 810 on Sunday and have bee 100% since however the scales still say 2lb gain.

I went running on Sunday and to boxercise last night but still a 2lb gain. I will be mortified if i have gained or sts for wi on Thursday. I was sooo hoping i would be at least 10.2.

I know we all have blips but i cant understand why it is such a HUGE gain???

It's because as soon as you eat carbs your body immediately converts it to glycogen to be used as energy. When you're in ketosis your body uses fat for energy until it is given carbs again. Carbs are it's preferred energy source as they are easier to burn than fat. The weight gain is glycogen which can weight about 4lbs not actually fat. As soon as you're back in ketosis that will go, so don't panic!!! Xxx
