Getting to goal

GOAL SETTING
(my favourite part!!!)
  1. Drop back to overweight BMI (81 kg)
  2. Drop back to 70's
  3. Lose 10% on Cambridge (75 kg)
  4. Drop down to 60's
  5. Have a healthy weight BMI (68 kg)
Will set more goals once i am back in my healthy weight range :)

 
It's day two and am feeling a bit weird. I haven't had anything to eat or drink or anything today, i'm starting to feel a bit paranoid about it and don't know what to do really. My tummy feels tight and although its not rumbling i know its hungry, but i feel nauseous as well and almost scared to have something. Did anyone else feel like this?

Hi Hon, just read through your diary. Good luck on your start with Cambridge. You need to make sure you have your packs at regular times and sip on your water throughout the day. It really does make it easier. I am on SS+, which is brilliant, and at the moment I have 4 packs - first one at approx 9am, 2nd -1pm; 3rd - 5pm; Last one about 9pm. That way I'm less tempted to cheat, or feel excessively hungry. Are you on SS? Just work out what's best for you. You may feel nauseaus (sp?) due to hunger or thirst, so definitely have something to keep you going. I felt nauseaus when I first started, but it was because I was having the packs, but not adding enough water. Once I'd had more water I was ok. I also add fluids by drinking Rooibos (S.African leaf tea), peppermint tea or coffee. You can also make up your shakes with more water too. These can help you feel fuller too. Oooh, and a total lifesaver for me is the CD savoury water flavouring. I have it when I'm really craving something salty - it's just like a cup of soup, just a bit more watery. I hope that's helped? Really useful advice :) I'm not sure what i am on actually, i think between SS and SS+ - first day i had equivalent of two packs because threw first one up; second day only managed half a pack all day; third day (today) felt really really dizzy and weird so have just made myself 120g grilled chicken breast without the fat and ate half and am drinking my morning shake with it, and am feeling much much better! My CDC said it wasn't cheating to have a little chicken and the SS+ says you can have 120g so i thought that would be ok.... Hope it doesn't stop me losing! If i still lose this week, then i will continue having chicken maybe every 2-3 days just to keep me from getting dizzy as its not such a problem on weekends but could be dangerous if i am at work.
 
Hello huni, well done on getting to day 3 I am on day 4 and I felt sick etc but it cud be coz ya not had enough packs so gud job u had chicken, i am licky I have 4 packs coz of my height and i really like them (must be weird :))keep up the excellent work ur doing great

Hiya Hon, you're more than welcome. How are you getting on now? If you did have SS+ days your losses will basically be the same as SS. I just find SS too harsh and due to medical conditions the SS+ programme is better for me. It definitely won't harm your weightloss if you need to do a SS+ day every now and again. Hope to catch up soon. :)
 
Hmmm note to self, NO SNEAKY WEIGH INS!!! Went for my weigh in and i'm down to 79 (which is bloody fantastic - thats a loss of about 10 lbs!!) but.... on my scales i am 77.9....

Woohoo! Well done, Hon! :D

Weigh in tomorrow.... I'm excited!! :D

TBH i haven't really done CD 100% but the weight is going down and even though i am eating food, i've avoided carbs and stayed in control.... So i'm not gonna give myself a hard time, so long as the weight keeps going down i'm happy :)
