Me, Myself & I... Lower carb, fasting, real live foods

Maybe you should see your gp - I don't think it's normals for a handful of sweet to make you slur your words etc. even the most sugary ones. That's not normal maybe you have something else going on?! X
 
WI today STS which I'm pleased with as at my highest this week was 89.5kg up due to TOTM was expecting it to be a 1kg gain !!
 
Darn just when I thought TOTM over it starts again!! I've not fasted properly since End of April and I think the effects have/ are wearing off - as it was my theory that the fasting is helping with the length of my periods which are normally 8 days so last 2 before this one have been 5 days .. Annoying is not the word!!
 
Sunday was another birthday celebration, had a few spoons of plain rice, and corn crackers plus lamb chops.. Didn't like the salad as it had wilted under to much salad dressing - stayed away from the coleslaw, garlic bread, had enough that I was full but not loads.

I made the birthday cake using spelt wheat flour and tiana coconut nectar sugar replacement and had a wee bit - about 1/3 of a size of a normal bit.

We left at about 9pm kids hungry again - so picked up mcDs.. OH was not hungry as he'd had 2nds and 3rds of every thing and had loads to drink! I was hungry too as what was left was all mostly bread related, we had lunch at about 3pm and by 9pm was hungry, not super hungry but need something .. Had a double cheese burger but no bun, and chips..

Our guest who's staying with us forgot to give me his work clothes to wash - so had to wait till the machine had finished at midnight and put in dryer .. Had a hot choc while I was waiting .. So def over indulged yesterday!
 
Scales show the effects of yesterday .., which I expected.

Today is a low kcal day, feeling ok about not having much to eat today.
 
Managed a fairly good low kcal day yesterday. I'm hungry today but not putting together a list of stuff I have to eat lol like I had been with lower kcal days
 
Scales back to WI today .. So hope a good week will show me a loss come Sat!

Breakfast:
2 eggs, feta cheese, beet root, cherry tomatoes
Fennel Tea x 1
Aloe Vera 30ml
 
Low kcal day again today

Ham slices and soft goat cheese for breakfast (67kcal)

Lunch will prob be mcds as out with my sister in law shopping with youngest son. Or maybe subway if I can find one?

Also been looking at this as a interesting body cleansing idea ?

Nope McDonald's it was .. Salad, with crispy chicken, fries - couldn't say no to the fries.. Will keep trying! I know I can say NO when I'm determined!! Plus in the right head space .. Not quite there yet!

Had the salad about 12pm and just picked up a double cheese burger when I got my oldest son a happy meal too - but have removed the bun ! Kind of hit the spot - other wise was leaning towards the choc - sweet stuff!
 
Yesterday's low kcal day didn't go to plan, just really wanting sweet stuff, plus carbs like rice, potatoes etc

Now looking back at last time I had acupuncture 2 weeks ago .. I can see that I was the same - sleepy tired, hungry for sweet stuff etc

Ok yesterday I had dried fruit, gelato, some dark peppermint choc (put other bar in the bin), rice, fresh fruit..

Don't know if acupuncture or just the sleepy tired feeling is pushing my sweet carb cravings - will have to see!
 
I have reflexology every week and I suspect acupuncture can have similar effects. Reflexology balances out the body and results in a detoxifying process and so it's important to drink a bit of extra water on the day of treatment. If I forget to do this then I feel very sleepy and hungry for things I wouldn't otherwise want. Don't know if drinking more water might help you?
 
Low kcal day today ..

I have eaten all the dried fruit I liked and will try not to buy any more :( and binned the peppermint dark choc I had! The dried fruit has no added sugars but is very high in natural ones! really nice too lol I'm better off not buying it.

Peppermint dark choc - Devine but I like it too much ! I will not buy anymore!!

I also ordered the clean 9 aloe Vera detox system. My tummy is still very puffy even tho I'm not feeling bloated .. I'm hoping it will help flatten it a bit before we go away in 3 weeks - as it the aloe Vera is stronger than juice I use now lol
 
Well my box of forever living clean 9 cleansing program arrived.. Have only eaten 666 kcals today so far so will start now..

2 days of low kcals with a shake
Followed by 5 days of 2 shakes plus 600 kcal meal plus loads aloe Vera gel etc

Hope this will rid me of my cravings and what ever wheat is still in transit in my body lol
 
Do you think your be able to manage only eating 600 cals?! You've not managed it on fast days?!

I'm not picking just asking bc those diets can be very expensive if your not fulfilling the diet properly xxx

Yeah I get that.

But are you gonna managed on the restriction by having a shake it'll feel no different to fasting.

I mean it'll mean no snacking no tastes here and there and really ensuring your meals are 600. It's just really restrictive and I wonder whether its the best plan for you when you were doing your primal is all x
 
I'm still going to stick to the primal way of eating within the 600 kcals - I just want to get rid of the bloat in my tummy area,
This is week 2 I've not had wheat - but I'm still craving stuff I don't need! the detox should help get rid of the cravings to I hope !

I have used shakes before on fast days, I'm thinking that either I have the 600 kcals as lunch or as dinner and shake for breakfast - or as a late breakfast as I now don't normally eat till after school run ..

I know it will be hard, but I'm going to give it a go!

Also the supplements are meant to help with appetite ?!

Just read the book - I'm meant to start on a morning lol so I will just use the Aleo Vera gel today any way and start properly tomorrow morning !
