Me, Myself & I... Lower carb, fasting, real live foods

Today has gone ok, had my 2 shakes and aloe Vera .. Think finally the aloe Vera has hit my digestive system lol - had to go the loo quickly - not as bad a Tango moment but close ;)

Going to someone house for dinner - lets see what I can have for my 600 kcals that are within the primal way of eating ..

Need more aloe Vera before dinner .. Really starting to not like it.. I usually have the aloe Vera juice with cranberry added.. Which is nicer ., oh well 6 days to go :)
 
Dinner;

Pear, few peanuts, beef, okra, salad, chicken, sauce made with cornmeal and chicken stock..

Aloe Vera - def working now lol
 
From the bottle I had was 1 tablet daily.

The garcinia tablets do seem to help with appetite. As do the 5-htp ones
 
Since I started adding the 600kcals for evening meal (as per directions of detox plan) my weight is up at 88kg - a loss of 1kg in total so far.. But my trouser I could not get into when I had TOTM fit again now and tummy looks a bit flatter .. So will continue - think I will have my main meal of 600 kcals at lunch today and the shake at dinner ., rules say can do that :)
 
Not really hungry today. So I've just had my garcinia plus chromium tablets with pint water, followed by 120mls aloe Vera with another pint water.. Didn't feel like the shake - so not going to drink it just because I have to..

Lunch: think I will take the garcinia plus tablets and aloe Vera and see how hungry I feel.
 
Scales moving down again today..

Once I've had the garcinia plus tablets with a big glass of water... Wait 20mins then have the aloe vera with more water I'm not feeling hungry - had my 1st shake at 11am

Yesterday I had my 600 Kcals at lunch, wasn't hungry around dinner time .. But the smell of others dinner really got me.. So I had a few bits and didn't have the shake.. Kcals still ok for the day. But I now understand why the 600kcals is in the evening !!

Looking at Day 6 today - 3 more days till end of it..

Talking with OH about continuing the garcinia plus tablets and aloe vera gel - oh and prob the shakes too lol maybe take with us on Holiday? Would be a good breakfast for me when at the beach.. Hotel does lunch & dinner but not breakfast ..
 
Good to hear about your scales hunni, how does it work then? I thought you just had 600 cals in 1 meal but on mfp that doesn't seem to be the case?
Sounds like a good idea with the shakes for your hols, I had set out thinking I would be try and be good, brought low fat super noodles with me but although I hAve eaten them I still haven't been on plan at all .. Whoops x

But by not having your shake your miss out on the vitamins that's in them. Doesn't it also defeat the object of the detox if your eating rather than the shake?!

Bc it is a detox not a TFR?

Morning is
Garcinia tablets 20-30 mins before aloe vera
120ml aloe vera plus glass water
Shake made with milk

Snack: bee pollen tablets

Lunch
Garcinia tablets 20-30 mins before aloe vera
120ml aloe vera plus glass water
Shake made with milk

Dinner: 600 kcal meal - eating primally (which sometimes includes potatoes & dark choc)

I've not had diet coke since I started on Sat .. So 6 days ..

Ave normal Kcals for the day (without being naughty!) is 1357 (ish) having all shakes, tablets, aloe vera gel and 600 kcal meal

Yes, last night I was putting dinner on plates (had not made my shake yet) and picked at the roast lamb and potatoes .. Which I should not have done .. I thought as I've had over the kcals of the shake I will skip the shake rather than have it... And go even further over ..

As I said I now understand why the 600kal meal is in the evening and not lunch time- as the evening time is a weak time for me, because I'm cooking dinner for everyone else, and I am tempted to pick at it. I assume this is a common issue?!

Lesson learnt!

My 600 kcals is a primal based meal ! Having a shake is also part of the primal WOE.. Milk is ok as long as you can tolerate it.. Milk is fine with me.

Sorry total food replacement = TFR I was saying yours isn't that you can eat your one meal! :) x

Feel good! Have just got some more aloe gel etc.

Def going to take some on holiday.
 
WI today.. 87.6kg 1.4kg loss .. Yay! But am a bit disappointed I'm myself as last night I made some bad choices - food wise and ate over my kals. I was not hungry, but my brain was thinking I want "something, something!" and I gave in :(

Will continue on :) Day 8 today
 
Well done tara. I hate that naughty voice that tells us to eat.

That naughty voice convinced me on holiday that I loved choc milkshakes and Oreo cookies flipping evil that is!!!

Well done on your loss, your cals seem much lower now and the snacking much better.. Well done Hun x

Oh no we have just been asked out for dinner.. Ive already eaten over my kcals today :( forgot dates are so high in kcals ..

Not sure if we are going but .. If we go tomorrow is a intro day - like a fast day with 500 kcal or less!! Aloe for breakfast and shake for lunch aloe for dinner and snack.. Mmmmm.
 
Ok went out for dinner - so way over kcals today, but was really nice just me, OH and friends - no kids either!!

.. and we are out again tomorrow for dinner at my sister in law.., if we are just visiting and not staying for dinner.. Then maybe I will just have aloe vera for dinner keeping the kcals at 785 - don't think I will be that lucky!

So plan for tomorrow;
Breakfast shake
Lunch shake
Dinner 600 kcals or not ;)

Monday; will be a fast day! Using the garcinia, aloe vera and 2 shakes - so about 600 kcals

Tuesday and onwards - 2 shakes plus 600 kcals and 60ml aloe Vera not 120 ml .. Kcals for the next level of diet are 1500 .. But am thinking to stick lower like what I've been having which is about 1300..

On holiday - I will do breakfast shake - salad and meat lunch, salad, potatoes and meat dinner .. With loads swimming ;) walking and having a good time :)
 
It's another day tomorrow ! Thank goodness it's a normal day.. I can get back to it !

Trying to do a 2 shake and 600kcal meal on the weekend - just doesn't work - life gets in the way!

Today Managed to avoid.. Cream Cake, rice, & bread to the shock of my OHs family lol - had a wetting of babies head in the morning, out shopping with OH and kids, (had subway salad bowl for lunch - avoided mcDs - even kids liked it .. Phew lol) looking for bargain holiday clothes and then to SILs in evening ., kids in bed by 8pm I used the crockpot cooker to do a meal so all I had to do was some rice .. Easy lol


So going forward - mon-fri I will do 2 shakes and 600 kcal meal plus aloe gel etc
Also going to do 2 days of low kcals/ fasting - mainly for Heath benefits - having my TOTM be 5 days and not 8 is so much better! If it helps loose weight faster I'm definitely ok with that too :)

Sat - if I do not have "plans with family" I will do 2 shakes and 600kcal meal.

Sunday... Will see what we have planned with friends and family, but I'm thinking if I have it as a 1800 kcal day - it allows for BBQs and birthdays.

I'm still going to be eating primarily.. Just in case anyone was wondering ;)
