aww bless you ma love xxx
The doc says that it's ok to be a bit overweight if you're healthy and not obese category, I think my doc is very broad minded but at the same time forward thinking. He says alot of the charts are based upon averages, however he has know some ladies 5ft 4 and 12 stone but have size 12 clothes hanging off them. We have also chatted about my daughter who is becoming a skilled ballerina and has been doing it since 4 yrs old. She has a heart condition and so gets weighed at the hospital, when she goes theoretically she should be on a diet as she is in the over weight category... thank the lord they see sense and actually look at her in her vest and pants she is extremely lean and well built, plus very fit she does ballet alomost daily and that is tough going, they were hard pressed to find any fat on her. They have never put her on any diet... thank god. I could see the heart specialist looking at her and looking confused and re weighing her and they saying he couldnt put her on a diet but the charts said she should be...
We had a chat about it and she too has a big head (in fact she was born by ceasarian) and massive feet and is genrally well built, put you can't pinch an inch... (it sounds awful talking about her in this way but we never had this conversation in front of her) So the doc didn't put her on a diet. He said 'there are people who will not always suit the chart, if fat were on her in rolls i'd say yeah but I can see her ribs and i'm not following charts without using other observations'
what a great doc eh!!!
I am the same, very broard, very stocky, but I think I'm ok. I am going to a weight which will put me in a size 12, that for me is 11 ish stone.
My advise is go for a weight that puts you in a clothe size rather than an ideal. I will look emaciated at 9 stone and i don't intend to go there, i'd be a size 8 I don't wanna be that... chart is a guide go for what you know.
As for your 'extra skin' I don't advocate it but why not save up and get surgery? Have it removed? If you also intend to have a baby erm well you get more of it (like me)... it's called being a woman. You're man loves you and he loves this part too. If you're down to an ideal weight where you feel comfy in your clothes then stay there, more weight off will make you feel ill and the skin will still be there....
if you wanna wear a bikini buy the slightly bigger kind, i find it still hides tum without wearing a full piece...
Best of luck ma lovely xxxx
