MWWWD (or Moonwatcher's Weight Watchers Diary!)

I'd say the gain was the exercise! Glad you feel good about things,it shows you how far you have come, that's why I think slow loss is better,it gives our minds as well as our bodies time to adjust! And that's brilliant news on the inch loss! Really impressive! I'm the same in that I wished I'd taken a photo of me at the start of my journey, never mind! Lol you sure did enjoy the lemon barley yesterday then!

Yeah, I think you're right about the slow loss - that's my excuse anyway, and I'm sticking to it! LOL. Yep, I'm please with the inches gone - I had got into the habit of measuring every week or so, and of course you don't see much of a change, so I'd put the tape measure away for a couple of months - much nicer surprise when you do measure then! Lemon Barley has gone in the cupboard - out of sight!

Yea I'm not measuring now until I get to goal.Good idea not to do it every week though.Lol you know slow and steady wins the race, quick fixes hardly ever work! Out of sight is good ;0)

Sorry to hear of your gain hun but 1lb is nothing. Changing weigh in day to a Friday makes sense if it's going to fit in better with your lifestyle.
Having a good blow out gets things out of your system and because it was planned its even better. Look forward now 8 whole days until weigh in refocus gain back control and you will totally kick ass next week xxx

Thanks hun, yep that's exactly how I feel - back in gear and ready to rumble!

We're not going for a meal now - the weather has really picked up and it's sunny and too nice to be stuck in a hot Mexican restaurant! So we're going here instead - East Ruston Gardens - absolutely beautiful gardens, and several acres of walking! Picnic being prepared (Spicy Lentil Patties in WW Pitta bread with minty yogurt, mango chutney and lettuce, cherry toms, strawbs, plums, packet of cheesy curls, fruit scone for 'cake'), dried fruit mix to nibble in car (1oz weighed out of course!) Should be a lovely day.

Totals for the day - 30PP. Not really worrying about the one weekly, as this is an in-between day - so will start a fresh weekly count from tomorrow. Same with APs - although must have earned a few as walked all around the garden for three hours.

Looks like a great day xx

Friday 24th August

Bit of a mixed day Friday. Started off well and had a lovely day at the beach, but some stuff kicked off in the evening from earlier in the year. Trouble is, me and the OH have different ways of dealing with it, and that in itself causes more problems than the situation itself. Anyway, feeling delicate today, but am not going to dwell on it. :( It will all come out in the wash, as they say.... food for yesterday.

First Breakfast - Toast and Jam - Total 7PP -
one piece Farmhouse bread, toasted (2PP), 2 tspns Butter (2PP), 2 tspns Blackcurrant Jam (3PP), then decided to go to the coast, so had...

Second Breakfast/Brunch (it was at 12.30 though!) - All-day Breakfast on the sea front esplanade at Cromer, watching the waves and the fishing catch coming in - Total 18PP -
Fried Egg (3PP), 2 rashers Bacon (3PP), piece Granary type Toast (2PP), 2 tspns Marg (2PP), 2 Sausages (7PP), Mushrooms and Tomatoes (0PP), tomatoes done on hot plate so no fat, not sure on mushrooms though so allowing another point (1PP). Managed to resist the Hash Browns, even though hubby had one and it looked a-maz-ing!

Evening - Garlic Bread with Cheese - Total 13PP - half a small Garlic Baguette (11PP), topped with half oz grated Cheddar (2PP), Greengages, Plums (0PP)

Snacks - Fab Lolly (2PP)

Drinks - Water, NAS squash, Diet Coke, one cup of Tea with splash of Milk, and one J20 (3PP)

Totals for the day - 43PP, 29 dailies and 14 weeklies. Definitely worth it for that second Breakfast!
Weeklies remaining 35
APs earned for the day/week so far - 10 (pointing for two and a half hours of slow walking - was actually more than that, even allowing for lolly and drinks breaks, and some of it was pretty brisk walking, but 10APs will do!)

All looks good apart from the upset of course! I hope you are ok,it can be hard when you both deal with things differently :0)

Thanks, yeah I think it's the typical male/female approaches really. We both basically agree about the issue itself, but he is just 'ignore it and forget it and it will go away' and I'm more of the wanting to understand it, know how other people are thinking and feeling, and talking about my feelings about it, because I know just ignoring it won't work for me. So of course we end up with the situation where I'd like to discuss it and he really doesn't want to as he thinks there's no point and I'll end up upsetting myself more!

Just looking at that diary for today that is a lot of butter, but there is nothing like real butter. Butter is butter, NOTHING else is butter! I shout at MyFitnessPal every time because when you enter 'butter' the first one on the list comes up as 'Clover - Butter'

NO,NO,NO, Clover is not butter!
