MWWWD (or Moonwatcher's Weight Watchers Diary!)

Yes thanks Daisy - feeling better today. There's no doubt about it though, men and women do definitely look at things differently.

Looks like I'm in the minority for Marmite then. All the more for me! Lol.

Lol yup more for you ;0)
It's the old men are from Mars and women are from Venus thing, not that I've read it lol

Thanks, yeah I think it's the typical male/female approaches really. We both basically agree about the issue itself, but he is just 'ignore it and forget it and it will go away' and I'm more of the wanting to understand it, know how other people are thinking and feeling, and talking about my feelings about it, because I know just ignoring it won't work for me. So of course we end up with the situation where I'd like to discuss it and he really doesn't want to as he thinks there's no point and I'll end up upsetting myself more!

Definitely a male thing! They don't like discussing "feelings" per se.
And I love marmite too.. yummy! Bestest is a thick slice of white bread toasted, oozing with butter and topped with Marmite...

Menus looking good there... :)

Ooh yes! You can probably tell from my diary that I like my real butter!

Thanks about the menus. Unfortunately yesterday's menu won't look so good when I post it later! It involves chips in Cromer, and hardly a piece of fruit or veg in sight! Was very tasty though - and we did walk for three hours as well!

Sounds nice. Just started propoints meself so I'm having a look round at what other people on the plan are eating just for ideas.

Monday 27th August

Breakfast - Cereal Bar and Chocolate - Total 6PP
- one Aldi White Choc Chip Cereal Bar (2PP), 1oz Cadbury's Dairy Milk Chocolate (4PP) Ate 'breakfast' in the car on the way to the Norfolk Garden Show and the All About Dogs Show! (Ssshhh! Don't tell our cat!)
Aztec Events | Norfolk Summer Garden Show 2012 - HomeNorfolk Dog Show, All about dogs, norfolk show ground

First Cadbury's Choc for ages, so as I was going to have it anyway I decided it was better to have the points as part of a 'meal' than as extras. That's my excuse anyway. Managed to resist the Cream Teas, Burgers, Hog Roasts etc., at the shows as we had packed a picnic. We just stood near the stalls and sniffed!

Lunch - (Picnic) - Turkey Tikka Wrap, Hula Hoops and Plums - Total 14PP -
one Aldi Wrap (5PP), 100g Turkey Tikka pieces (3PP), tbspn LF Mayo (1PP), Jerk Seasoning (0PP), 8 Mixed Olives (1PP), shredded Lettuce (0PP), punnet of Cherry Toms (0PP), pack of Cheese and Onion Hula Hoops (4PP), Plums (0PP)

Dinner - Egg and Bacon Muffin - Total 10PP
- one Toasted Muffin (4PP), one Fried Egg (3PP), 2 Rashers Bacon (3PP), splash of HP (0PP) more Plums (0PP)

Snacks - one Fab Lolly (2PP) at the beach

Drinks - NAS squash, one cup Latte (2PP), Glass of Sweet Cider (4PP)

Better on the fruit and veg front anyway. I am prepared to be gently chastised by Libby/Jaly about my breakfast! :) ;)

Totals for the day - 38PP, 29 dailies and 9 weeklies
Weeklies remaining 7
APs earned today - more walking. Slacking a bit today as only managed an hour and a half! :D - 6APs
Total APs for the week so far - 29 - all on walking!

A lot of the walking has been because we have put our names down for a beach hut site with North Norfolk Council, and we've been checking out the various sites to see where we would like to go! We've decided on Overstrand - lovely beach, peaceful compared to the other options, and you can walk to Cromer along the beach in an hour (we know, because we have done, Haha!), to eat breakfast at the Lifeboat Cafe on the promenade!

Can't beat a healthy walk along the beach, although today my calves, ankles and shins are really sore, so it will be a day off.

Hi Karen and welcome!

I normally try to eat a bit more healthily - more fruit and veg, but this fortnight my OH has a couple of weeks off and we've been going for days out, so I've been indulging a bit!

How long have you been propointing, and how are you finding it?

Ooh yes it was great at the dog show. If you get a chance try and go - so many dogs of every shape and size! I bet Lola would enjoy it too! I got my tickets half price via Groupon, so possibly they'll do half price in Suffolk too?

Pffft! :p Alright, alright, I shall forgive you for the breakfast, just this once, tut tut ;)

Sounds like loooooads of walking! I'm really not surprised that your legs are hurting you to be honest!

Food looks very yummy though ;) Well done on the fruit/veg, I think I almost eat too much fruit/veg to be fair! We'll have to blend our diets and find a happy medium :p You can have the salad (yuck, rabbit food!!!)

Well done for resisting all that delicious food at the dog show, must have taken a lot of willpower! ^^

and, chocolate as part of the meal doesn't really count I'm afraid, sorry! :p Though.. if you melt the chocolate and mould it into the shape of a fried egg or a rasher of bacon, that's a whole new tale! ;)

Have a fab day!

Hi, I started about 5 weeks ago I was 11 st 12 lbs on a good day!! Got down to 11 st 4lbs which is wat I was last wed. most of the loss was from just not eating everything in sight!! But last wed started on propoints with 100 % commitment and doing a little jog 5 morns a week, so I will see how I get on tomoro at wi. I love tracing everybody's diaries and weigh ins and stuff. Good luck with weigh loss.

OK, thanks mum! ;)

Yep, it's just below the knee which is sore - my thighs are OK, which I'm pleased with, as it means the exercise is paying off. My calves are a problem anyway - 'cos of wearing high heels too much when I was still a young teen - the muscles didn't elongate as much as they should have done. That's what the Dr. reckoned anyway. So they don't really like long walks in sand! Good to stretch them when I can though.

I always think it looks like your fruit/veg intake is really good. Yum lettuce . Not that mad keen on salad myself, but it did fill up the wrap and give some crunch too! Love the cherry toms though - hence the whole punnet!

Well the chocolate pieces were square, so I thought it counted as a good square meal! :D

Have you had your doze yet?

Well done on your loss so far, and on the jogging. I really do like the WW plan. Hope it goes well for you. Have you started, or are you going to start a diary?
