MWWWD (or Moonwatcher's Weight Watchers Diary!)

So... food for Tuesday 4th September, then I really must go and do a bit of ironing!

Breakfast - Biscuits - Total 6PP - didn't have any brekkie at home, because I wanted one of the canteen's Oaty Biscuits when I got to school for the free coffee and biccies! One Oat Biscuit (still warm!) counted as a flapjack... (4PP), one Shortbread Finger (also warm!) (2PP)

Lunch - also a freebie at school - 'Hunter's Chicken' with Salad and Oven Fries, Fruit Salad - Total 10PP - one Chicken Breast (4PP), one Bacon Rasher (1PP), sprinkling Cheddar (1PP), BBQ Sauce (1PP), Salad (0PP), few Oven Fries (3PP) (were already plated up, didn't eat them alll though) Fresh Fruit Salad (0PP) (passed on the home made swiss roll and ice cream!) Really quite happy with that. The other main course choice was Quiche!

Dinner - went to Wells and had Spicy Chicken Baguette, Ice-cream - Total 21PP - One single portion baguette (couldn't weigh it but guestimated to 6PP), Tomato and Lettuce (0PP), 1.5 of OH's Onion Rings (3PP) tbspn real Mayo :( (3PP!) Spicy Breaded Chicken (5PP?) I wasn't expecing this to be breaded, so a couple of points at least more than I was going to allow... small scoop Coconut Ice Cream (4PP)

Snacks - None

Drinks - Coffee with splash milk, Water, NAS squash, more water!

Totals 37! 29 dailies, one remaining weekly and 7 over!
APs earned 2 for around 30 minutes walk and walk home from work
APs earned for the week so far - 28

Not sure what to do about my PP for the next couple of days at the moment. Just this once I'm tempted to cut down on my points today (Wednesday) and tomorrow to try and make up some of those I have gone over. I know I could take them out of my APs, but would rather not. I definitely do not want a gain this week, although a STS would be just about OK (No I'm lying... I want a loss! :D) On the other hand, I don't want to get obsessive about a few points as it is still going to take me a long time to get the rest off, so I have to be in it for the realistic long haul. OH also wants to go out tonight as it's my last day of freedom (for freedom read Summer Holidays!) before entering the madhouse again tomorrow! ;) And who am I to argue?

So... I will try to stick to 26-29PP today and tomorrow. If I stick to 26 each day that will grab back 6 of the 7 over, and what's one point between friends? If I don't manage it, well that's life. A new week starts on Friday. A lot will depend on how tempting the menu is tonight I think!

Oh, and a bit disappointed - they haven't rung and offered me the job yet! Hehehe! :D:D:D

Lol bet they've rung now ;0)
Yum to the icecream and yum to the food where you work :0) as to cutting back with points I guess you could if you really wanted to but the 7 weeklies you have gone over by would be covered by the AP points! Or cut down but bulk out with veg and some fruit(know you have to be careful with IBS) enjoy the meal tonight and your last night of freedom :0)

Wednesday 5th September

Well I definitely didn't cut down on my points - just the opposite in fact!

Breakfast - Greek Yogurt with Maple and Pecan Crunch - Total 5PP - 3 tbspns Greek Yogurt (3PP), 1/3 oz Maple and Pecan Crunch (1PP), 2 tspns Maple Syrup (1PP)

Lunch - packet Cheese and Onion Crisps (4PP)

Dinner - at the pub - Steak and New Potatoes - Total 19PP - 6oz Sirloin (8PP), 4oz New Potatoes (2PP), Mushrooms, Red Pepper and Tomato (0PP), tspn Butter (1PP), 2 small Onion Rings (2PP), Fat to cook mushrooms (1PP), small serving Peas (2PP), followed by small scoop Lemon Ice-cream (3PP)

28PP up to now - so far so good.

Then we went for a walk along the (cold) sea front and ended up having Doughnuts and Hot Chocolate - 2 Ring Doughnuts (14PP), Hot Chocolate with whipped cream (12PP) Really enjoyed them though and felt very relaxed about it.

Drinks - Diet Coke, Water, Green Tea, NAS squash

APs earned for the day 2 - walking. Total APs earned for the week so far = 30
Had decided to use my APs for the 7 already over, so all APs used.

Sorry to hear about the STS but as you say, better than a gain! Hope you've enjoyed your time back at school so far, the takeaways sound yummy, you definitely deserve a treat or two ;) Food sounds delicious in general in fact, particularly that pub dinner! Glad you enjoyed your doughnuts and hot chocolate - nothing worse than being disappointed by something you should consider a 'treat' :) Good luck with applying for the jobs and, i hope you're feeling more appreciated soon! We appreciate you and all of your sound words of advice and wisdom, we definitely missed you this week!

Agree with Jaly totally!'
Hope you're ok and have had a good weekend.
Fingers crossed the job will come up soon for you and you get it :0)

Awww thank you both! Just having a bad few days I think - I was very badly sh*t upon by a so called 'friend' this year, which is still affecting me, and I think I would have liked even a hint of 'thank you for your hard work' and a bit of encouragement ref applying for the post, rather than the stock answer I got, although I did really suspect it wouldn't be as simple as a sideways move with no effort! It's the same pay though...

Then got even more dumped on, with being expected to do the work of three, just to sort out stuff that other people hadn't done - because 'they hadn't got time' but they appeared to have time to sit in the staffroom drinking endless cups of coffee whilst I ran around trying to get things done! :sigh: (Will add, that as I am not a total doormat, 'their' stuff didn't get done, because I just didn't have time, and if it bothered them so much, they could have sacrificed a few of their cups of tea to get it done, or even offered to make me a cuppa as I ran around doing six things at once!)

Sunday 10th September

I have to say that I am really pleased I changed my WI to Fridays. It means I can relax a bit over the weekend. Because I have more of my weeklies left, I know that within reason, a few treats and goodies are easily covered! I'm also pleased that even though I have been fed up over the last few days, I'm not fed up with my dieting, or even with the STS. In the past, my weight and lack of success at dieting was closely tied into my mood, (or vice versa!) Now I have a much more relaxed feel about it. I know I'll get there, even if I am on the scenic route! I know that is in part due to the support on here, so I just wanted to thank everyone. I really do appreciate the support, even though I haven't been around much in the last few days.

Breakfast - one Pink 'n' White (1PP)

Lunch - L-o-n-g BBQ in the garden - Total 25PP
- one WW Petit Pain (3PP) as Garlic Bread with 2 tspns Butter (2PP) and Garlic (0PP), 3 Chicken Drumsticks, skin on (9PP), sprinkled with Texas BBQ spices (0PP), two Pork Ribs (4PP), tbspn Jerk Sauce plus a brushing of Olive Oil on the ribs - counting (2PP) for the two together, 3 oz Potatoes, cooked in foil on the barby (2PP), with tspn Olive Oil (1PP), herbs and Mexican Piri-Piri Spices (0PP), tbspn Salad Cream (1PP), Lettuce, Tomatoes, Basil and Yellow Pepper (0PP), 2 Clementines (0PP), one Pimms and Diet Lemonade (1PP)

Dinner - Almond Milk Rice Pudding with two tspns Golden Syrup (7PP)

Snacks - one packet Crusti Croc Cheese and Onion Crisps (4PP), 1/2 oz Bombzy Mix (2PP)

Balls! I have been battling with mine this morning! Ha - that got your attention!

I decided to inflate my Argos bargain gym ball. All went well (good workout for the thighs too, using the pump) until I tried to put the bung in. The thing is ******* useless - it doesn't fit tightly enough, so the air just comes straight out - not leaking out slowly, but hissing out. I did read some reviews before I got it, and although a couple had problems with the bung, most were really positive. Looks like I have one of the dud ones. So I had another gym ball (that's right - we're a two ball family!:D) which I bought ages ago, stashed in the back room, but first I was too heavy for it, and then I had lost the pump! Undeterred, I pumped that one up instead using the Argos pump, and it's fine. Only thing is there is no size on the box or instructions, so not really sure if I have pumped it up enough, but it seems OK and when I sit on it my thighs are parallel with the floor which is right apparently.

Honestly, it's so muggy here today that I was practically knackered after all that pumping! Did about 40 minutes on the Wii Fit, including some boxing rounds, then this Gym Ball workout - Link to Gym ball workout

Was pretty good. Couldn't do many planks though! Finished off by doing some of my upper body weights while sitting on the ball. Think I'm going to like it!

Lol balls everywhere in your house ;0) are you taking the other one back to Argos? Hope you enjoyed your workouts!
Sorry to hear you've felt down the last few days, but well done for staying in control and that's good that you are happy with your change of wi day :0)
Glad you didn't let the people at work take advantage of you..nothing worse when you can see someone doing that to you plus I'm sorry to hear you've been let down by a friend earlier on this year,it's never nice when that happens!

Hope you are on Hun!! Loving all the ball action lol xx

I loved the gym ball! I probably won't worry about taking it back, because it will cost me about a gallon of petrol to get there and back, and then I'd have to buy a pump for the other one. It was under a fiver - not an excuse for it being unusable, but just not worth the aggro and having to pay for another pump tbh.

Yes, it's not been the best year really. The best thing has probably been losing the weight and taking up the exercise - I really feel pleased I have managed to do something positive in the middle of it all. Re the work, I often feel I'm totally invisible in my job until something needs doing quickly - it's one of the reasons I'm looking for a change, but there are a lot of positives about working there, which is why I want to stay in the same place.

Yes, I'm so thrilled that I've finally got to a place where I can feel I am really doing it. Although it's taking me a while, my mind-set has completely changed, and I don't go through that yo-yoing that I have done for so many years, where I was either 100% on or totally off the 'diet'... I just know that I am going to get there this time if I keep going, and a lot of that resolve has developed from this forum, and all the support. Feel the lurve!

That's good that you want to stay in the same place but do something else,I hope it all works out for you :0)

Yeah, thanks, we'll see what happens. If it's meant to be, it will be. Or I might win the lottery of course (I hardly ever buy a ticket, so that's not very likely!)

Waiting for a work-man to come and look at a leak in the bathroom, so didn't do my exercises this morning in case he turned up in the middle of them... typically he isn't here yet, so I could have done them anyway! Never mind, have taken the opportunity to have a look at this month's budget, and sort out credit card payments etc... got to pay off the moped asap, so we can then start to save some money from it! Also signed up for a free trial of Netflix and for LoveFilm. Signed up for the Lovefilm first, then discovered their Wii channel app isn't coming 'til 'some time in September,' so can only watch them on the PCs, unless I can find the lead to connect PC to TV. As Netflix has free trial as well decided to try them anyway. Think we will be watching a lot over the next month!!

Had a lovely tasty brekkie of toasted cinnamon and raisin bagel with cream cheese, maple syrup and blueberries for 8PP! Really, with 'diet food' tasting that good, however did I get so fat in the first place? No, don't answer that! LOL.

Tikka turkey and mango chutney sarni in a while for lunch, then ironing.

Hope everyone is having a good day.
