New diary-I'm going to class!!

Extra lean beef mince-think theres 700g so it'll be for a few different meals. Normally I'd do some bolognese and some that tastes more 'meaty' for shepherds pie.
 
this is how i make my kebabs.. you can make them into burgers or shape them like sheesh kebabs..

i use a kg of meat and put in the following

3/4 tbsp salt
chilli flakes (however hot you want it- you can use chilli powder too)
1 tbsp cumin seeds
3/4 tbsp garam masaalah
an egg
fresh coriander
i sometimes put in a piece of bread thats been blitz, but its up to you.. if the mixtures is a bit loose add one in.. if not leave it so its syn free..

just mix everything together..chop the coriander finely and mix in.. and if you can, let it marinate but its not important...

then either shape into burger shapes or into long sausages..

I put them in the oven or you can put them under the grill, on the pan.. however really.. hehe.. whatever works for you. if its extra lean it might need more egg to ensure its moist so you may need to put foil over the kebabs if you're putting them in the oven..

and thats it :D
 
Oooh they sound yummy, thankyou very much. I have all the ingredients too. I'll do a small amount and see if DD likes them-if not all the more for me!!LOL!! They'd be nice with wedges, mayo and salad wouldn't they. Can't 'afford' bread or pitta etc today as having oaty pancakes for breakfast!!
 
So todays plan:
B-coffee,oaty pancakes with lots of fruit.
D-ham salad.
T-Rozie's kebabs with wedges and salad.

The kebabs are yummy!!!
Been for a brisk muddy walk this afternoon-did about 2.5 miles I think. DD loved playing in the stream!! There'll be no exercise for me tomorrow as I'm at work all day but I then have a weeks leave so I'm hoping to do something everyday-I'll get that stone award this week if i can!!!

They're delicious as a sandwich.. With chips, wedges, with couscous (I cut them into chunks once I've cooked them).. And on their own!

Todays food:
Hex A-375mls
Hex B-oats so simple.

B-coffee.
Brunch-oaty pancakes (oss, mullerlight, eggs, sweetner, baking powder) with a banana,lots of blueberries, lots of pineapple,3 big strawberries.
Snack-rocket and 2 small kebabs to try them.
T-kebabs, SW wedges, massive salad(3/4 of dinner plate-wedges had to go on a side plate!) mayo mix.
Syns-mayo-3, timeout-4.5. Total 7.5. Weekly 20/30.
Exercise-brisk walking-some steep hill for around 45 minutes.

Plan for tomorrow's food is ham salad, new potatoes and bread for lunch, apples for snacks, the last of the biriyani with salad and naan for supper after work.
 
Aaaarrrggghhh!! Its all gone wrong!!
Yesterday went as plan until I had a chocolate craving after my supper and remembered I had some lindt white chocolate truffles which I think are 4 syns each. There are 17 in a box-I know because I've eaten them all, a bag of crisps, 2 timeouts and a cadburys brunch bar in the last 24 hours!!!

So todays food has been bad-oooh had some cheese too but it was reduced fat.

Plan for today is coffee, fruit, ham salad (when I've cooked the ham), shepherds pie with lots of veg.

I'm on annual leave this week and have so much that needs doing. Think while the ham and mince are cooking I'll clean the fridge and defrost the freezer and do an itinary to sort out my meals for the next few weeks. Not very good at throwing things out but I'm wondering whether to get rid of things in the freezer (not DD's things) that aren't SW friendly because despite my blip I'm in this for the long term.
 
Didn't get the freezer sorted-wasted time fruitlessly trying to get new cushion pads for my cushions-they were all the wrong size or too soft.

Anyhow food for today;
Hex A-375mls skimmed milk.
Hex B-55g WM roll.

B-coffee.
D-small v lean steak, small potato made ito SW wedges, big salad, mayo.
T-shepherds pie (inc onion, carrot, celery), peas, red cabbage. Bit low on SF as out at swimming with DD and no time to cook them as microwave is broken-can't wait until I get the new microwave tomorrow!!

Syns-mayo-1.5, gravy granules-3, tiny cheese-1, 2 timeouts-9. Total 14.5.

B-coffee, alpen light (just had this as I needed to eat something so I could have some anti-inflammatories for my back). Will try and sqeeze in some fruit as I'm going to see about a pension shortly.
D-steak and salad as yesterday.
T-LO shepherds pie with extra mince and lots of vegies-so long as I can work the new microwave!!

D-steak, lettuce, rocket,cucumber, tomatoes, orange pepper, onion, mayo, bread roll.
S-apple.
T-LO shepherds pie (inc superfree), carrots, cabbage, leeks.
Syns-alpen light-3, mayo-1.5, gravy granules-2,cheese-3. Total 9.5.

Todays plan is ham salad for dinner and pork and veg for tea.
 
Hi helen i lost 0 .5lb last night was disappointed till i realised a packet of butter is not that small i think sometimes its good to visualise the weight lost so am happy now lol have a good day xx
