Very true Jaffa. I google searched the avulsion injury (which he called it) and seems it's the force of the twist of the joint that pulled that part of the bone off! Now wonder it hurt.... double ouchy!!
We have one of our members who's training to be a consultant so I'm not needed except as my meet & greet role. I used to particularly greet anyone new as they arrived but since the c moved that table into the large entrance hall new people don't get into the main hall. I think I've said before that the two other social team members are pretty close and I don't feel particularly valued. When I get there early I weigh in and heard a comment that was because I help sometimes! See what I mean?
Yes I agree...it only one person really...can't be more than she is!! ...and it's probably to do with the fact I don't go at the crack of dawn to help set up but I doubt I'd do it the way 'she' wanted it done!
I walked up the road to get some eggs and saw my son Matt at a distance but knowing his eye sight doubted he saw me. But he suddenly appeared from another way (so think he had seen me!) as I was walking along the road. Anyway had a little chat, he had tears in his eyes...aww! I told him again that he was always welcome so he said he'll come round after work tonight. Phew...hope we've over come that little hurdle now.
I'm having a bit of an off plan day today...nothing new there but still feel cross that I'd been really on plan for several days but the scales didn't reflect it. My sw friend didn't go either, she went off to visit her sister instead.
Yes he came just after 5.30 and stayed until 7pm...bought me some lovely flowers (came bearing gifts! ...peace offering! lol) Anyway gave me big hugs and a kiss...he knows his mum loves him lots. I'm just so glad I kept trying to chat to him on fb and he didn't feel the door was shut to him and he couldn't come here.
