Oh to be a consistent Target Member!!

Oh Jaffa I didn't want to leave my bed this morning! lol.
Yes opticians was fine thanks...healthy eyes and a mere change in left eye; she said it wasn't worth changing the lenses for that. I'm only borderline for glasses really, wear them just for driving. Pleased to say my near sight vision is still very good.
Then we did some general shopping in Morrisons & Aldi...I was glad to get home again but Joseph decided he was going to give the car a quick wash down so I got lunch. I wasn't feeling too well by the time we sat down to eat.

Glad to hear you had a better night sleep Janet and that the optician visit went well. This has been a crazy week, I have felt like I am been on a different planet some days/at some times.

I went to aldi and asda today and still got home for 5pm so was really pleased, not quite unpacked yet, but this is more important - ha! My baby, James, is 11 tomorrow :) Need to ice
some cakes for him to take to school tomorrow and also wrap his presents, luckily he is out at Young Voices till the coach gets back at 11pm.

I was delighted to be at target this week even though I had put on 2lbs, still only 1lb over target. Considering everything and it being TOM, it could've been worse.

It always seems to me like you've missed a meal as I know you have your main food at lunchtime
Maybe you should have another main meal at dinner time as well

But if you'd planned a lovely snacky day then that's brilliant

Oh sorry...tut...just my (direct) way of writing...sorry I sound soooo bossy!! lol.
Just to add I can't go to bed with much in my stomach or I'm not comfortable to sleep. I have to be careful at lunch time too...which is why I had the sundae much later than the meal...normally (you've may have noticed) I don't eat desserts.

Tis alright its difficult with the written word when you can't see emotions etc

Yes I must say I don't sleep well when we've had a big meal

I like to be finished by 9pm and that's when I have a coffee and hi fi so even if we eat at 7pm I won't have my coffee and sweet snack till 9pm then in bed around 10.30 to 11 sometimes 10 depending how I'm feeling

I tried two routes to see about whether ankle support would help. Joseph asked at the pharmacy, she said to ring fracture clinic. I did that...seems there's no one there to ask until next Tuesday as they're all in theatre... So I've taken my own advice and am wearing it to see how I go. Anything has got to be better than a nagging pain that won't go away, even will the foot up. #shutupenoughmoaning!

Well...am I being a goody one today! :p
We had late breakfast so started preparing some lunch at 2.30, just got it in the oven when Joseph rang doctors to book a telephone consultation. He was told there were none this afternoon but patients could go between 3-3.30 and see a doctor. So took the lunch out the oven and here I am drinking my options and small choc and will have 'lunch' when he returns.
He's just rung to say the surgery is packed so probably won't be back until more like 5pm?

He's having problems with what is called thrombophlebitis... the pharmacist recommended a cream so he went to ask for a prescription. He left here about 3pm, I rang him at 4.30 and he said he hoped it was his turn next....he got home just after 5pm. We ate at 5.45 is a record...even for us! lol

I sat watching the great british bake off on ytube....
