Oh to be a consistent Target Member!!

This will be the 4th time I've been to Tenerife. We stay in the Costa Adeje area.
We went for my mums 70th and I have also been twice with my husband

Staying in a different hotel this time as the Costa Adeje Gran has completely outpriced itself which is a shame

I honestly couldn't go wheat free as well as everything else but I will mention it to the dr next week as I just booked a follow up appointment with one of my usual drs. I alternate between 2 depending on availability

Yes I know wheat free is a biggie to consider. I can soon see when I eat it because my face & tummy go puffy and also my fingers start to feel stiff in the mornings when I first wake up. NOT forgetting my ears which are not good this morning after the sausage plait yesterday! :(

As the weather's not good we're going to Bluewater, it's a huge shopping mall really but we've not been before. We plan to eat at Bill's. My choice will be between wild mushroom risotto: parsley, pecorino and olive oil or halloumi & hummus: sesame seed bun with grilled halloumi, roasted peppers, sweet chilli sauce & yogurt, served with skin on fries. Then an eaton mess or warm brownie, ice cream & choc sauce.
So many choices...:sigh:

I'm planning on getting Joseph a laptop for Christmas but he's whinged so much tonight about using my netbook that I think I will (just spoil the surprise) and go into PC World tomorrow and get it!!

Have a good day out Janet shopping and eating....perfect combination!

There is a Bill's in Cardiff, I haven't been there, but no surprises, my son has been to a couple of different ones in London!

Morning Jaffa & Lynne...I've finally surfaced after an exhausting day yesterday...all the walking! We arrived at 11.15 and left at 8.15 and apart from an hour or so for lunch and about 40 mins for some supper...we were mostly walking! It was the night they switched on the Christmas lights and had fireworks.
Bluewater was an amazing place and so much to see. I couldn't get Joseph's laptop as they'd already sold 8 that morning and had no more in stock so that was disappointing. And now he says he doesn't want a new one anyway so guess I'll not bother.

The food at Bill's was very nice. I had the Halloumi burger and fries which was delicious. Joseph had the peri peri chicken and said the portion was so small (for a man) that he would have spared the bird's life!! lol. I had the eaton mess which was lovely. Later about 7.30 Joseph wanted something filling for supper so we went to the Square Pie...I wasn't too keen but knew he wouldn't eat if I didn't so I had a mushroom & asparagus pie, few wedges & peas. Joseph had sweet potato, spinach & goat's cheese pie. But oh dear as we drove home I knew I'd probably how trouble sleeping with a full tum. And I did...felt quite ill during the night...:( I still don't feel 100% this morning... Hope I do better as the day goes on as we have a birthday party to go to at 6pm.

I think it's because I actually ate two meals yesterday...I don't usually have that much food and I'm used to only eating my meal midday.

So far today:
Options, banana,
pkt Mrs Crimble's cheesy baked snacks (fancied savoury) apple
Options, small choc bar

Will see what food is available at the party tonight but still feeling a bit 'delicate.'

Well as 6pm approached and I was sitting here in the warm I wasn't that keen to even go out but of course we did. It was actually a very nice birthday party and I ate some food too and thankfully feel back to normal again.

The scales were 10.7 3/4 this morning so shall have to attend to that the next few days but not in a manic way because I have had a lot of extras but not free falling into nosh syndrome which is a big improvement this week.
