Quins; back to the plan.

Suzyflo, you know exactly how it is. I enjoyed my night away, made the most of it being with my son. Went to the cinema, watched "safe" , never seen such a high body count. Then had chinese buffet, no carbs. Stayed in a beautiful bb farm house, full english brekkie that kept me going all day through the rugby trial.

Back on the plan now. Thanks for the reminder about 2lb tolerance, I shouldn't have worried, I'm good at giving advice to others but quick to bash myself up.

I'm struggling with your beautiful photo.... grandparent? You look wonderful on whatever your doing, keep it. (What's the secret? )

Aww, thanks for the compliment Quins, so kind. I suppose I don't scrub up too badly for a 50 year old biddy!! Yup, grandparent indeed, I have 2 grandchildren aged 6 and 3, two step grandchildren aged 1 and 5 months. Two children aged 27 & 23 and two step children aged 30 & 31. My secret? I can't say I've got one, other than healthy eating and regular exercise :)

Lovely that you got some father & son time, a moment to cherish. Sounds like you had a great time :)

It was my nifty too! Can't believe you've got grandchildren! Healthy eating and, as I have learned, regular , low impact exercise are really key. Oh and sun screen according to that record from a few years back!

Green.

B. Sw rosti, baked beans, quorn sausages, 2 syns, mushrooms (a huge one from our field), fry lite egg.

Pink grapefruit, banana and apple.

L. Some spaghetti with balsamic vinegar, not a lot , made myself eat.

D. Hex b of lean lamb, roast spuds, carrots, green beans, cabbage. 4 syns for the gravy.

Total 6 syns.

Feel much better being back on plan.

I know I will drop a couple of pounds eventually.

It was my nifty too!

What a coincidence, we're almost exactly the same age...almost twins!! lol. I don't know about you but I don't feel my age and I most definitely don't act it!!
I've got '50 year olds' reunion coming up in a couple of weeks, there will be people there that I haven't seen for 34 years eeek! I'll have to make extra sure I stay on track and stay at my target weight and keep up with the 30 day shred - I want to look my best on the night! Dreading it a bit though, hoping there aren't loads of awkward silences and not knowing what to say after all these years.

Been hectic all last week, a full 8 days properly off plan , my bad but work Tavel and rugby commitments produced the perfect storm of booze and foreign food......

Back on track, with a brick in my stomach.....

Green

B fry lite egg, toast

L. Even first day work conspired against me, working lunch, starving, provided with fajita wraps cheese ham, ate 2 halves and salad and fruit plus two small lamb koftas

D. Grilled wedges, fry lite egg, mushy peas, some left over oven chips. Yoghurt.

Thanks suzyflo , doing my best to keep focused, the last time I weighed reflected the descent into debauchery over the last month, big birthday, foreign visits, poorly prepared long journeys for rugby matches up and down the country....13'3! Lost 3lbs over the last week already just by being back on plan and being prepared to make the right choices. The hard bit was to make a choice at motorway services, forcing myself to eat to take the edge of hunger. I fell foul of this on the Warrington trip, didn't eat at services then got to Warry utterly famished and we headed to nearest food area, a retail park, KFC, McD and Pizza Hut, pizza and salad bar won!

Yesterday our Superleague match was in Wales,

B. left over pasta before leaving .

L. In a sweet little cafe in Bedwas, jacket cheese beans

2 pints Brains dark smooth, beautiful

D. Motorway services....... Jacket beans and cheese,

Snack at home, bowl of meat free chili and rice

Syns about 20 ? Possibly less, 3 lb loss is fantastic. No one else has noticed any weight gain except. Me, people still commenting how fit I look and asking what training I'm doing!
