Monring all, Welcome February!

New week, new month - back on the wagon. Ian and I were talking over the weekend and he's going to re-start his 5-2 diet, so I said I might give it a go for one day a month, I'm going to cut down on the calories today - Mainly coz I haven't got any breakfast, am going out for lunch and we've decided on tea!

Pre- breakfast - hot lemon water
B - 1/2 white grapefruit - might have to get some lean bacon, and tomatos from the cafe if my tummy gets to rumbly!
S - Toffee muller and Banana
L - Possibly nothing, but maybe a small jacket potato
S - possibly nothing
T - Lean gammon steaks, boiled potato and steamed carrots and green beans

Hope all my lovelies have had a lovely weekend and a new start to February.

I managed to only have 1/2 grapefruit at 7.30am, then x1 small coffee, x2 apple and pear green and x1 pomegranate and raspberry tea, then at 11.30 I had the banana and toffee yog, I've just been for lunch with a girlfriend and had a small bowl of M&S tomato and basil soup (276 cals)- NO bread roll and butter and I even left the little cookie you get with your small decaff flat white coffee!! :girlpower:

I'm going to try and not have anything this afternoon till I get home for my tea.
I suppose any less calories are better than too many.

The fast days are hard to get into the habit of, but I find that as a grazer the key for me is to find things that maximise your cals so you can snack through the day...like 5 100 cal small meals or similar! What will Ian eat on his fast days?! Xxx

Hey peeps, sorry for the no contact for the last couple of days - been a bit hectic!

The fasting day on Monday went better than I expected, I felt a bit hungry but just had a hot drink of fruit tea or hot water and it went away. As we are busy this week, we're only doing one day this week, but are going to try and do 2 days next week.

Tuesday's eats -
B - Bran flakes, banana
S - Weetabix chocolate bar
L - Salmon salad with lettuce, cucumber and red pepper, sliced smoked salmon and a teaspoon of seafood sauce - all had with a plain jacket potato.
S - Strawberries and blueberries
T - Pasta Bolognese.

Todays eats are -
B - Multi grain porridge
S - a small piece of homemade bakewell tart - made by me!
L - Leftover pasta Bolognese
S - Banana and toffee muller
T - Will be something quick out of the freezer as we are going to Give Blood tonight.

Have drunk a bit more coffee today than I have in the last few days and feel a bit sluggish so don't know if its the re-introduction of coffee! I'm going to wean myself back off it and get back on the fruit/green teas.

I'm sooooooooo tired today :needhug::zz:
Have no idea why, I went to bed at 10 like I always do, and slept all the way through - no pit stops in between - and this morning I feel like I've been doing an all night rave!

Well it's back to the gym day tonight, Me and mum are off for a 1-1 support session to re-jog our plan - I've got loads of energy for that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :4633:

Eats today are -
Pre-breakfast - hot lemon water
B - Multigrain porridge - I'm so in love with my new porridge pot!
S - Peanut hi-fi - Friend delivery!
L- X1 small breadcake with marmalade ham and baby bell
S - either a Muller chocolate pot or the muller toffee I didnt have yesterday with a banana
Pre-gym snack - possibly the banana as above!
T - Pasta and sauce and maybe a cheeky slice of garlic ciabatta!

FRIDAY tomorrow peeps - and the 6 nations starts!!!! Tomorrow might have to be a treat day but I'll see!

Update on eats

As i've been cold and tired most of the morning, I really didnt fancy my cold and boring ham sandwich, so I've taken a trip over to the canteen and I've had a jacket potato with a chicken kebab and lettuce.
Not had a snack this afternoon and am currently drinking my third cup of hot lemon water, I'm going to have my banana just before I leave at 4.30 to go to the gym.

I'd love to get back to the gym... I really miss going in a morning before work, made the day pass a bit quicker! Hoping to go back very soon... once I've stopped sniffling all day anyway! :) lol

And yay for Friday! :bliss:
 
We haven't been since the first week in December :ashamed0005: due to Xmas/New Year/Chest Infection/Mum being poorly etc etc...... I'm can tell tomorrow might be a bit painful!!!

Thank you, it was oven cooked chicken on skewers but had extra lettuce to bulk it up without any vegetables.

Well mum and I made it from the gym with all limbs in tact!! To be honest we only went for a programme review so we didnt actually do anything apart from 20 minutes walking on the treadmill.
We've had our programme changed to include more interval training on the upright bike and treadmill, and different weights to tone up the large muscle groups. We'll be doing our first run through next tuesday so watch this space - my fingers might be the only thing that doesnt hurt!!

Today I've got my bestest work friend up here with me so we've already had lots of cuddles and catch up chat as we've not seen each other for aaaaaaages!

So far eats today are :-
Post breakfast - hot lemon water
B - x2 slices brown toast, x2 slices lean bacon, x2 grilled beef tomatos - mmmmmmm
S - if I want it - weetabix toffee dazzler
L - We're off for lunch to catch up some more and we're going to M&S cafe, so might have some Tomato and basil soup that comes in at 265 cals
S - maybe nothing
T - Well as the 6 Nations is starting tonight we thought we'd celebrate with a chinese!!

Saturday today yippee!
We got up at about 9.30 and then went to asda, dropped Ian off for the train as he's off to football, did the supermarket run, came home and have put 1 load of washing out to dry, 2nd one in, x2 chocolate sponges just taken out for tonight's pudding as we are going to friend who we haven't seen since the beginning of December, we take it in turns to go round and whoever is going takes pudding, so tonight it's my turn so I'm doing mini Black Forest puddings.
So far to eat today I've had
X1 hot lemon water
X1 peanut hifi
X1 bag of Mattersons fridge raiders
A packet of munchies and a gingerbread latte
Tonight we're having beef stew, dumplings and roast potatoes oh and lots of booze!!

It's a not so much Sw day today

Well.... After beef stew, dumplings and roast potatoes last night along with a bottle of prosecco and a bottle of champagne between us two girls and then a vodka mixed cocktail - oh and a shot of salted caramel popcorn vodka - you can imagine how my head felt this morning!!

But after grilled bacon, mushrooms, beans and a lightly fried egg I feel better already!

We're having a snuggle do nothing day and are having chicken in breadcrumbs with mozzarella and pasatta with tagliatelle for tea. Tomorrow is a fasting day so later on will be preparing breakfast for tomorrow, then tomorrow night I'm goin to do a sw quiche for Tuesday.
