Hey there Rosie

How are you? I hope you had a wonderful Christmas and NY. I have been away from my own diary but lurking and reading everyone else's. I am re-starting, everyday I re-start but by bedtime I have invariably f'd it all up!

I am struggling with things at the moment, but need to get some will power and strength and take a good look at myself, not just to lose weight, but to feel brighter about myself and less sluggish and tired.

Anyway, i just wanted to say hey!

Hello Rosa

How are you? we haven't conversed in a while, I thought I would check in on you. I am back with a new diary and raring (almost!) to do. I notice you haven't posted for a while. Are you well?

Meant to add, my new diary is just below my signature

Tuesday 25th February 2014

Today, it seems I woke up from a deep sleep. Where did I lose ME. Why have I let myself go and gain some weight. I was doing so well and lost all that weight - now I feel so fat and ugly.My trousers are too tight and had to buy a size 16 coat - a year ago I was a small 12/14.

Well I am back and going to stick to healthy eating and keep up with my diary.

Breakfast - WM toast, boiled eggs, Black tea

Snack - Orange, Black tea & coffee

Lunch - did not get time as I was busy. Content with oranges

Walked to town and back - 6 miles

Dinner - Salmon, mixed veg (Red onion, peppers, tomato, courgette), 1 tbsp oil, BNS, Black tea

Snack - Blackberries, Black tea

Positives:
1. Suddenly realised that I need to be back on plan
2. First day on plan went well
3. Positive
4. Determined
5. Going on holiday in a month so would be nice to lose a stone
6. Ate well and on plan
7. Walked 6 miles

Good for you for getting back on the horse Rosa. I am sure you are not fat and ugly, you shouldn't say that about yourself and size 16 is nothing to be ashamed of either - so stop the negativity and lets think positively. You can get back to exactly where you was last year, by being totally sensible and by staying on here, on Minis - I know, because I skulked off and gained loads more.

Where are you going in a month? France? I am sure you can lose some weight for that - especially walking 6 miles!!! Crumbs, thats really good. The food is looking lovely too.

We can do this Rosa!! x

Thanks Charley. Yes I think, I am over my downfall and back on the straight and narrow. Wish, I could say eating fine food made me put on weight - No it was rubbishy food like bread. Coming home late in the evening has not worked well either. You know what it is like when your train is delayed, you are stuck on aplatform without shelter and by the time you get home you are soaked and cold - obvious thing is to stuff your face with whatever comes in front of you.

Well that is past and I am back for good.

Yes France for a couple of weeks. Can't wait.

Hope you are well.

I know exactly how it can be Rosa, thats the life I lived for many years. I was living on takeaway. Who can be bothered to cook for one person when you get in at 7:30pm?? Sadly, it was excuses. There are things you can put in place, like careful planning on the weekend and befriending a slow cooker. Its all in the mind set, nothing else.

I am glad you are getting back into the swing of things Rosa.

Ooh, France, wonderful. I love your posts from France, it makes me want to buy a place in another country and live the life you know?

Have a great day.

p.s You dinner last night looks so cosy and warming, a bit like a foody hug!

I became pre-occupied with a chore and by the time I realised it was too late to start cooking so decided to feed my sudden cold with a comforting dish - yes it was a food hug.

As mentioned before you are welcome to come and visit me in France.

Your food yesterday looked lush minus smoked mackrel.
