No problem .. me n the fella were trying not to tilt our plates the first time i made it incase the big pool of water fell off LOL :flirt2:
 
Well I made the chicken curry yesterday and it was gorgeous, the best curry I've made :)

However, I've made the sausage & bean casserole today and I've come home with an hour to spare and it was sticking to the side of the slow cooker! It says on the packet to cook on high for 4 hour and its been in 3, the curry was lookin a bit dry aswell yesterday...has anyone else had this problem?

Hey i usually cook on low ... so ive never had that problem .... maybe try leavin on low ?
 
Yeah I'll try that coz high is far too high, it had clearly been burning for a while =/

Slow Cooker Cheesy Chicken Spaghetti

Serves - 12 (1 cup each)
Points - 6

454g. dry spaghetti, cooked
454g. Velveeta Light cheese
354g. can chicken breast, drained and flaked
305g. can 98% fat free cream of mushroom soup, undiluted
305g. can 98% fat free cream of chicken soup, undiluted
284g. can diced tomatoes and green chilies (Rotel)
113g. can mushroom stems and pieces, drained
1/2 cup water
1 small onion, diced
1 medium green pepper, diced
salt & pepper, to taste

Methods/steps
Spray slow cooker with non-stick cooking spray.
Combine all ingredients in slow cooker and stir to mix well.
Cook on LOW for 2-3 hours. Stir again just before serving.
Nutrition Information:
286 cal., 5.7 g. fat, 2.7 g. fiber


I've just found this recipe on another site and think it sounds amazeballs.. Thought I'd share.. Gona try it this week me things :D If anyone has tried it, or tries it before I do, please let us know how it tastes :D

Slow cooker mexican Chicken - 4 servings - 12pp each
Ingredients
• 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
• 1 cup / 240 ml black beans
• 1 cup / 240 ml corn kernels (fresh or frozen)
• 1 small jar salsa (your favorite variety)
• 1 Tbsp / 15 ml cumin
• 1 Tbsp / 15 ml chili powder
• 2 cups / 480 ml cooked brown rice
Preparation

  • Add to slow cooker: chicken breast, beans, corn, salsa, cumin and chili powder. Mix and cook on low 8 to 10 hours.
Serve with Rice (need to add the propoints) or a zero point salad

Found this recipe online last week, just thought i'd share.
made it at the weekend and it was lovely. was a bit nervous about the beans...this is the first time i'd tried something with beans in the slowcooker and i'm still here...no ill effects:D
