Sona on Dukan Diet- Restart

hey guys!!

sorry been busy today!
i know ive been naughty! AGAIN! feeling really down this afternoon just cant seem to snap out of it! duno if its the downfall of the sugar rush... from yesterday!

have stuck to plan today
just got my dinner to get through tonigh.. need to pick some eggs up on my way home.

yes until you get back into ketosis hon you will have cravings etc (we have all been there) thats why its important to stick to this and not have the carbs that arent allowed AT ALL cos you just undo everything. and it takes 5 days for your body to start burning fat again.

I think once you see some of the loss on the scales you will be more motivated to be good.
(p.s. im not preaching cos i do the same as you ALL the time, im just trying to help :) )

Yesterday was agreat day! i stuck to plan! and ALSO decided to cut out the coffee!! I think i got a bit addicted to bad coffee at work!! im gona stick with tea and more water! Im still suffering with the doodaa issue and still working on remdies! lolz

Plan today is
B- oat and flax muffin with phili ( lush!)
S- tea
L- chicken soup and yogart
S- yogart
D- chicken stir fry with some cabbage and onion.

The chicken soup has been lovelly int he cold weather BUT i still seem to be VERY hungry a few hours later so im gona try take the soup back to snacks or pre dinner and get something else in there for work lunches. Will have to be more inventive next week im thinking a quiche with phili in it. Can someone confirm if there is ANY type of (hard) cheese we can have just for cooking?

Thanks for that hun! will look it up! ive taken all sorts of stuff now and still nothing happening!!! im SOO bloated! AND blinking TOM 5 days late.. well later for a normal cycle duno if it will be normal yet! aagghh i think i will be able to lose again when body is back to "normal"
 
I think it will just take time hon. x yes do get some ive had no problems this week at all!

i actually want to eat something but dont feel that hungry.. is that crazy or what!!!

im doing ok, im actually going home next week for a couple of days! that should be fun! but terrible for the diet! its eid and its at mums house that means bad food bad news!!

how u doing? im on early shift at work so eating durig the day is wayyyy to early and last meal waay too late! :-(

s- coffee
L-quiche , yogart
s- coffee
d- chicken , beef and cottage cheese

back to basics.
 
menu sounds good hon. i bet its hard especially with dukan when you go home and all those lovely home made foods!

Just checking in on all the diaries after a few days off....noticed you mentioned feeling hungry after your chicken soup...not sure how you make it...but perhaps you could (if you don't already) put some fromage frais into it....it would increase the protein content thus increasing satiety...keep you fuller for longer and create a creamier more satisfying consistency....

soz didnt come on yesterday had a hectic day at work doing admin stuff!! got a mouth ulcer so its really hard to talk or eat!! im litrally eating with my front teeth and swallowing my food! last night i stupidly made a chicken stirfry AFTER id fed everyone else and cleaned the kitchen though id enjoy my dinner.. ofcourse i couldnt so i picked out bit of chicken and just ate that. Later my tummy was rummbling as i was still hungry and meal before that had been almost 9 hours ago!! SO my hubby suggested i have a milkshake... i ended up having a slimfast shake in skimmed milk.. his protien shake in water is disgusting!

Got some new meds for the ulcer today makes my mouth numb.

B- bread with chili phili spread
S- coffee
L- quich with some chicken tikka bits
S-yogart
D- beef stew!

yes i got a slow cooker.. sealed my meat and cooked it for 5 hours till beefy tenderness sensation! lolz i was well pleased and my slow cooker was only £7 from the asda! on sale from £15!

what can i have with beef stew and are u supposed to have it like a soup? mines quite watery but i only used 1.5small tea cups of water... its thick in consistancy aswell.

lolzzz my mil can cook... dont mean she can cook well!! hehe i know im being cheeky! but i can resist as i only like her chicken curry anyway and when im being naughty i just pinch some chicken and wash it down a little!

thats a great idea!!! i had put some phili in it to give it some thickness but will defo give ff a go next time.. im thining of making some cauliflower soup..

to thicken up you can use a little corn flour but only a little.

Im on an early shift at work so here before 8am!! agghh i have to get up at 6. end up having brekki at work ( home made) at 8ish and then lunch at 12ish.. then nothing till like 8 or 9!!

Will remember the cornflower next time vicky! Tried my beef for dinner was reallly nice and soo tender! and easy to eat with the problem i have at the moment!

Hi Sona,

mmmmh that food today sounds yum! I must remember to make the cauli mash again!

As for soup - better not use canned they will likely contain no end of thickeners, sugars, if not fat.
But for a really quick and filling soup you can use a stock cube (use low-fat if you can) in the appropriate amount of water, simmer and stir in one or two beaten eggs (keep stirring) that will instantly form into shreds nearly like noodles. On a PV day add some veg and simmer till cooked before adding the eggs & serving.

Thanks anja thats a great idea i think i might give it a go tonight! took me 30 mins to eat my lunch of cauli mash and chicken mince i just couldn chew my food at all!! Its gona have to be soup tonight!
