Sunday Weighers... or is it only me?

Which is absolutely fine if you have planned it! I have learned that you have to be able to let go sometimes or it becomes an obsession.

Tomorrow I have to have a fasting blood test so will do the shred before I go and drink gallons of water. It really is getting blood out of a stone for me so I am not looking forward to it.

When I get home it will be grilled mushrooms & tomatoes with baked beans
Lunch : tuna salad with pasta and mountains of garden salad
Dinner: egg curry with spelt and spiced spinach
Snacks : muller Greek yog coconut flavour, options chocolate, ryvita and Philly, iced coffee
 
Being flexible is what keeps me on this way of healthy eating. It is my anniversarythis weekend and I will be eating and drinking at will. I will prob gain next week, but back to 100% and it will come off again!

Another good day! Nearly lost it after a horrendous time at the Drs. Five attempts to get blood from me. Losing weight hasn't brought my veins any nearer the surface!


Swinging tomorrow (kettlebells)

Breakfast : the mushrooms, tomatoes and beans I didn't have this morning
Lunch: veg curry and rice left over from tonight
Dinner: Spanish omelette made with the remainder of the veg curry and roasted sweet potatoes. Salad
Snacks: options chocolate (I think I am addicted to them) apple, pineapple

Have a good day everyone. Imagine yourself in a size smaller clothes. That's a 12 for me. I want to own a bodycon dress. Anyone else lust after one?
 
I've decided that I need a challenge to keep me focused. Why is it that my heart races when I have a target and I get fired up to succeed, otherwise I drift. I know SW is about the slow burn so I plan to have a realistic target that will see me making modest progress to my ultimate goal but at least it will be progress.

I want to start 2014 in better shape than this year, which means fitness as well as weight. There are 16 weeks left to the year so I plan to lose 1lb a week and really focus on the exercise. Any ideas what target I can set myself for that?

Yes, this means that I will be weighing myself this Sunday - the truth will out!

16lbs and counting........ If anyone wants to join me I'll set up a challenge thread.

Well done. So that's back on eBay I presume!

I went shopping mad (only eBay so it's all relative ) when I reached size 14. That was nearly a year ago so its time to drop another size I think. There's that in between time when some makes fit in a smaller size so I do have some 12s in the wardrobe but have to admit I can't get into them at the moment.

Using kettlebells has done wonders for my shape whilst I've been losing weight. I'm seriously tempted to go up a weight as I no longer get that muscle ache and pulsing in the gluts when I lie in bed at night! Mustn't kid myself I'm fit though - a 20 min session with Jillian on 30 day shred has me in pieces. Need to build my endurance.

What works best for you?
 
I use a kettlebell too and do zumba abs and I have really got into running - did a 10km this morning:)

The core work has helped my running funnily enough.

Yeah the dress will have to go back on ebay - I can't believe that I am in 14s!

Too embarrassed to say how much I've gained in just one week, but at least I'm weighed in and know what I have to do!

That is the right attitude - it will come off again. Well done for weighing :)
I sts which I expected as I ran 10k yesterday and always retain water. I expect a gain next week cos I have had a flexi weekend with up to 60 syns per day - chanpayne, ice cream and chinese take away but its not my wedding anniversary every week!

I am pleased to report a 2.5lb loss which takes me to 174.5 lbs - (my scales weigh in lbs not stone) this also means I focus on the losses not my weight if you know what I mean. My 16 week challenge starts today so I am looking for a pound off for next week.

Today- I am going to try the 60 second intensive exercise approach. Running for 20 seconds as fast as I can (don't laugh!) rest for 20 then repeat twice.
Rest day for kettlebells and I might get the wifi out if I can work out how to operate it

Breakfast - figs and yogurt
Lunch - boiled egg, tomato and celery ( working at my sons equestrian centre) and an apple
Dinner - smoked mackerel kedgeree with green beans and courgette. Etonian mess with raspberries and Greek yogurt

Every day is a new day so seize it while you can

weigh in today and lost 5 pound happy isnt the word!!!!!
 
Just 1lb off for me this week. Not surprised as my body had a wobbler and I had to feed it.
 
Forgot to weigh in yest . :D 3.5 lb off today !!!
Im chuffed to bits cos I drank a lot this week too !!
