Sunday Weighers... or is it only me?

Hi Sum,

Usually minimum of 4-5, probably mostly 5-10 but not uncommon for me to use 10-15.

I will let you know how tonight goes :)

Think I'm gonna have a gain guys- just popped on the scales and up 2 pounds! Dunno what's happening- been super good this week! Stopped drinking as much and only been having ww wine which is 2.5 syns a glass! ( had one glass last night and was content) Pffft! Usually would have a bottle or 2 a week and spirits.

Could it be that you are normally a bit dehydrated when you drink more? You have cut right back on the booze so are less dehydrated. More water in your body = you weigh more. Just a theory I made up lol. But this is not a bad thing. If you are more hydrated today (albeit heavier) then that is a good thing as every bit of your body needs watering to function efficiently.

As the other say, do not be disheartened and try to eat something to keep your metabolism tciking over. And drink loads of water. Good luck Lucy :)

Emma - great to see you more positive and focussed. What could be more motivating than the goal of having a gorgeous, precious, wee baby? :) x

Gail - I was reading you diary in bed this morning. You are doing very well this month despite all the gourmet temptations. The month of March will be business as usual 100% so I am not worried about you at all.

I had an epic fail last night. I had a lovely dinner planned, but before I made it, my neighbour called to say we were invited for drinks at another neighbour's house in half an hour. I didn't have my dinner and had a bottle of red wine and crisps on an empty stomach. I feel and look like death warmed up today.

I am going to have a booze free March. It's official. It has no nutritional benefits, makes me feel like sh!te, gives me a bloated face, makes me talk rubbish and slows my weight loss.

A minor NSV came out of last night though. I got ready to go out in half an hour. Pre-SW it would have taken me ages. Every item of clothing I own would have been tried on then thrown on the floor and I would be sat crying saying I have nothing to wear because I am a big fatty

Last night I was happy with the first thing I tried on. Easier to put on make-up too. I used to put on make-up then have a paddy saying I looked like a tranny LOL My face has more definition now so I look more feminine. My Pat Butcher days are over :happy036:

Let's all look forward to a great March! Spring is in the air! :bunnydance:

Good to see you again Sausage. How is your week going ?

Thank you for your faith in me. I'm actually starting to have more faith in myself too :). Having a good on plan day today before tonight. And that makes me feel good for doing my best :D

Hope you're feeling great Sausage. Thanks again.

Cross posted prev post.

SO glad you are finally starting to see the huge benefits. Well done Sausage.

Hope the alcohol free March is successful. I will try to be on your case to help 'remind' you :p

My daughter turns 16 in March so there is bound to be champers about. I will resist. Will have to have my wits about me anyway to keep an eye on her and her mates!

I am off on the cross trainer now for my syns.

Enjoy your evening Gail :D

Sausage,

You cannot possibly have a daughter who's nearly 16. You look so young in your avatar.............

Ahhh well, weigh-in day came around again this morning and all is not good - oh woe, oh woe, oh woe! I have been as good as I could be this week, which doesn't equate to being very good at all although in truth it wasn't very bad either. The problem lies in the fact that for whatever reason my OH is not doing any cooking now, which means that I have to do all the family cooking and so cannot then be bothered to cook differently for myself. I do best on green days which does require me to eat differently. I have been giving this some thought and I reckon I might be able to do somewhat better if I did some batch cooking with quorn and freeze it which would mean that I could eat very similarly to them most days. I'll give that a whirl and see how it goes.

Oh and I put on half a pound (see I knew it was a good plan keeping that half pound in reserve, otherwise I would be confessing to a whole pound :p ).

On the whole, I am moderately pleased with my self-discipline this week as whilst my dinners weren't brilliant, I didn't give up on myself and just kept away from snacking or having my syns, knowing that all my syn allowance would have been used up in my dinner.

Nothing much has happened this week except rain. It has rained and rained and rained for days now and its not drizzly rain, but big tropical downpours. YoungOzMoz has had to go to school in her flip-flops and put her socks and shoes on when we got there as the roads/pavements are flooded - one good thing though, it's warm rain!

I really hope the rain stops soon though as I'm getting sick of being soaked to the skin, then drying out, then getting soaked again. We don't do coats here, too bloomin' hot for them!

Anyway, enough whinging and bleating from me, poor old Reggie the goat must think I do more bleating than he does! ;) :D

Good luck to all of you, hoping you all get some good results this week to off-set mine! I was pondering this the other day, between all of us, mainly not me though, we must have lost several persons worth on this thread if we added it all up!

Morning.
Don't worry OzzieMoz it's only half a pound , you can easily lose that this week!! I have woken up to sunshine so a better day than the cold rain yesterday.

I have lost another pound (yippee) which takes me to a total loss this year of 10lbs . I have another 2 stone to go, but it is steadily coming off now that I am sticking to a plan, finding new exciting recipes , making new exciting foods and posting my food diary daily- so I can really keep track of my syns!! The only downfall is that as I am now adding piccies to my food diary I can't post until I have the pic so am having to recall it by the end of the day.

I am also typing up a new recipe book that I received at Xmas- so this is a new project for me too!!

Back to work tomorrow :-(

Good luck with all of your weigh ins

Kx

STS for me, not really surprised. I started the week off well and then slowly slowly slipped off the wagon!

morning all

1lb off for me

good luck everyone

Gosh Moz, is that the end of the school summer holiday already? How rubbish was that? Half a pound is a cup of tea. You will lose that no bother.

Well done Kwise. Could you add a link to your food diary on your sig so the nosey people  can have a quick look?

Pinkie - I know how you feel re the wagon slipping :(

Nice one Why_D. Good to see you back :)

I lost 3.5 this week. I should be chuffed, but when I look at my diary, I am just back to where I was 3 weeks ago. Been mucking about with the same few pounds on and off for weeks and it is nonsense!

I have a 'thing' 5 weeks today. Would it be resonable to try to be under the 200 by then. Eleven pounds in 5 weeks? I don't like goal setting, but maybe that is my problem!

The booze ban is on already. Added to the March banned list is also crisps. I know SW does not ban food. I trust the plan, I just don't trust myself, hence the banned list. Will see how it goes.

Well done the early birds and good luck to everyone else yet to WI.

:worthy:Silly sausage sooooooooo fantastic on being able to find something to wear -thinking about it that would be a dream of mine -somehow makes it all worthwile dont you think-:girlpower:

LOL Thanks Mazie - it sounds like I am nudie all the time! (Only on a Sunday hehehe)

I don't mean to sound ungrateful for my loss. I am just frustated at getting nowhere fast. Nevermind, a new month beckons and it is nearly veg planting season so I am very optimistic!

Lost 1 lb this week, taking me to 66 lbs. I lost 5.5 lbs in February, which isn't great, but still downward.

I'm struggling at the moment, and I need to get my mojo back. So, am making March a good month officially! I'm going to post in my daily diary again, stick to counting syns, and just be more accountable.

Hope everyone has a good weigh in today!

:17729:SS just love your philosophy you are sooooooooooo right I so wish i had the strength of will you have -I should ban choc like you have banned booze and crisps:lost:

Honey -very impressive 66 lbs -makes my 5 look a bit measly! am so impatient like everybody else I guess:17729::clap::gimi:
