Afternoon all
Well, what an interesting experience that was - I had my feet ultrasounded! It was to check blood flow, which is A-OK, and there's no nerve damage to my feet and no sign of anything like diabetes - so that's all good.
The bad news is I have to buy special shoes, because the ones I'm wearing are making my feet poorly - but I guess there could be worse things in life than being told to buy shoes
Vicky - re the sauce for the meatballs, I did some more label checking and the M&S pasta sauces (tomato and basil; and arriabiata) are really low in carbs, 2.1g per 100 and 2g per 100 respectively - they would work a treat with them mmmmm.

I use memory foam pillows, hun - and have a memory foam mattress - brilliant
You thinking of changing yours? Bought mine on (guess)...eBay, cheap as chips. They come in a small packet but fill out after being unpacked.

I went into Dreams atthe weekend for some advice and the chap had me laying on a bed on my back and side trying out the different types lol. Thought I'd be able to get the best one for me on fleabay but been checking all week and there's nothing, it's actually a latex pillow that is good for 10 years.

Hello, I have been reading and lurking in your diary This might seem a bit of a random post but I work in podiatry.
I'm hoping the podiatrist you saw told you there are loads of shoes out there that don't cost the earth and might be suitable?
If you are sold on a hotter or cosyfeet pair, let me know as we have discount vouchers. Its only 10% but it might be useful?

That's really kind of you to offer the vouchers but he did give me a couple - thanks anyway
He just told me to get shoes that have a 2 inch heel, so I'll have a browse online. I had a bunion op on my foot 30 something years ago and I think it's starting to break down, which is why my big toe is very stiff and a bit numb - but at least it's not about to drop off!
