Susie and Orbit's daily dribble

Oh no - shame about the boat dream! But v pleased you found out now!

Agree that living near the sea is my dream - but i also love london so have to make do with the river ;)
Xx

I know hun it would have been disaster if I found out later, stuck with a boat and no mooring!

And you've put your finger on my dilemma, I love London too, but I do also love the sea...and I can't afford to buy anywhere in London!

That third one looks really interesting, a bit different to the other two in a more architectural sorta way? Sorry about the boat thing, was there not more than one mooring place you were looking at?

Just looked at that flat, it's fab. If you don't buy it I may get a holiday home! :D
Especially loving the Thomas Tank wallpaper which of course you must keep! x

Ooooohhhh... you moving down here babes? They all look lovely. x

Evening Susie - all very exciting. Hope it's suitably sunny next weekend:)

Half twelve and I'm still up trying to stop the flat from flooding

I'm in a basement flat with a small enclosed patio. Leaves keep covering the one small drain, and because the rain is so heavy the water just keeps coming up and up. I have got soaked twice but now have got the broom out the window (not easy with the security bars!) and keep swirling the leaves out of the drain, which seems to be doing the trick and saves getting wet. Hope I won't be here all night!

Never known it to do this before and I've lived here for two years...
