Am working from home today, not sure if the two gins upset my tummy, or just all the excitment, but had a rough night blah

Not much on the menu today as a result - just some roast pork - and lots of water.

Morning all

Didn't sleep great so am here early at work. I have had a few tummy upsets lately and am beginning to wonder if I am having too much protein, because I just can't identify anything else as being the cause of the problem. What do you all think?

Sorry to hear about the tummy probs - might be worth specifically keeping diary of amount food, time and then tummy (good/bad) for a couple of weeks to see if just one thing or time does it?

Great to hear Orbit settling in well - have a vision of the catnip mice lurking in every corner and being pounced on

Also really good news on the mortgage and flat - everything crossed it all works out. Looking forward to the housewarming party (one track mind lol)

Thanks Katie, it seems to happen if I eat red meat or anything processed like sossies after about 8pm, get awful nausea, cramps and then the runs - but can't always guarantee I can eat earlier.

Thx guys - light has been shed - it's a bug!

Just got an email from my boss, she was off with it too and so were two of the other Comms people. We all sit in a tiny room so no doubt that's how the bug circulated, especially with this hot weather.

Loads better, thanks hun, although I feel like I've been punched in the stomach...but managed to keep my carby brekkie down and am just having some cheese salad now (picking out the pasta!).

Yup Bren I gave in gracefully - very funny, Orbit has started doing this thing where she herds me to bed - keeps jumping up and looking at me expectantly, with her tail quivering She likes cuddling up, I guess, but it's very sweet The pair of us were out like a light!

Katie - no mice inside yet, thank goodness, but it's only a matter of time

Just had the yummiest lunch, Oakhurst Signature (Aldi range), two chicken breasts with a caesar style topping), 1.2 carbs the whole pack mmmm. There's an Aldi just down the road from my new flat
