Morning Jimbo and all

Lovely start to the day off today, a little wind (not me ) and a bit of sun so time to get the towels washed and out. I have a rubbish washing machine which refuses to do more than one towel at a time, so they do tend to build up!

Love smelling the change in the air, I love autumn and can really feel it, it's not really cold, just a bit crisp, but the air smells clean and fresh. Who needs Febreeze?!

Orbit is a happy cat today, tearing round the garden like a girl racer, charging back in again when one of the other cats gives her a fright and then pouncing on her special shopping bag, which has an earwig in it - picking on something her own size

B - bacon omelette, methinks, with lots of tea
L - roast chicken with cabbage and leek
D - more of the same, or might do a slow cooker beef casserole
W - 2 litres
A - no, oh maybe a vino with dinner
E - general housework

At the moment she's sulking bigtime after her first dose of Frontline...but as a flea jumped out on my hand as I was about to do it, the teenage sulking is easily put up with

I remember now that we also used program (add to cat food) which was really good on sorting the fleas too. definitely worth belt and braces on this - says the bitten fleabag

Thanks for the comments about Orbit, she is a dear wee thing, and is now talking to me again after the terrible way I treated her with the one dab flea treatment...

Can't say I am full of the joys of spring this morning - could barely drag my bones outta bed lol - but expect that's to do with the amount of sleeping and basically sweet fa I did all weekend

As we speak I am savouring a yummy soya latte (large) and trying to get my head around the work for this week.

B - 2 eggs, 2 bacon on 2 slices golden herb flax bread (in other words, one savoury Mim) - very nice but could have done with some butter or sauce - also very filling
L - tuna salad with mustard mayo
D - leftover pork with cabbage and leek sauteed in butter
W - 2 litres
E - a bit of walking
A - no

Have dillydallied with my WI day, but decided I am going to make it Monday, to help inspire me - or give me a kick up my big behind

So, happy to report 1 lb off yesterday. Back to clean and green this week, after a clean out of the cupboards - how did that tube of squeezy sweetened condensed milk get in there!!!

Thanks for the tip Katie - gosh it's not cheap, is it? Orbit's quite fussy about what she eats so not sure I could get away with adding anything to her Perle

Will persevere with the monthly sulking for now. I have to try not to laugh when I do it - she puts her ears right back and closes her eyes - "It's not happening, it's not happening, it's happening arrrggghhh..."

Well done on the pound, any loss is a good one (think it might have moved in with me though - along with a few others - not looking forward to the scales tomorrow but truly I have NOT stopped eating today, and all bad bad bad stuff!!!!)

Morning Jim and everyone else

Still feeling half asleep and already chucked back my morning latte and considering having another one!

Orbit is no longer sulking about the flea treatment, we had a little love in last night when I got home. This consists of her jumping onto my tum, then climbing under my neck while I fold my arms so she has something supporting her. Then she takes 20 minutes to decide which way she wants to sit (mostly while waving her behind in my face) then curls up with her head on my arm, purring away like mad when I obey instructions on the right way to scratch under her chin. Very sweet.

She is however sulking about the next door cat (remember Shirley?) who doesn't like her territory being invaded and is doing a very effective rugby block by sitting at the top of the patio stairs - for hours!

B - l/c pitta with bacon and cheese, melted, bad but yummy, latte
L - belly pork and cabbage and leek from last night
D - out with Di to have Indian yaye!
W - 3 litres
A - maybe one glass
E - a bit of walking
