Morning all, feeling loads better today after a good night's kip! I can always tell if it's a restful night or not - if Orbs is still on my bed in the morning, I've not moved about too much - otherwise, she gets fed up and takes to the sofa, and then gives me a right dirty look in the morning
Red day today -
B - banana sandwich nom nom, skim latte
L - low carb pitta with turkey, lettuce and cream cheese
D - chicken veg curry
S - Muller Light, orange

Evening all
An eventful day here, the usual busy at work - I keep pinching myself that I'm working in such a glorious place, had my lunch sitting looking at the Thames
Then got home and had to rescue a mouse brought in by Orbit, not my most favourite job in the world, then she got in a fight with a nasty tom down the road who has decided to expand his patch of influence.
Orbit is fine. I am covered in scratches...
Forgot to say - I have some free jazz concert tickets for the evening of the 29th - anyone fancy coming? It's not trad jazz - a young band called Empirical - they are winning awards all over Europe. Let me know here or PM me.

- measly dinner of microwaved quorn fillets because I couldn't be bothered to do anything else - check
- dead mouse in bin - check
- wine in hand - check
Ok I love Orbs heaps, you all know that - and I DO get why cats bring mice indoors ("I love you, let me provide for you too, here's some low carb mouse for you to chew on, etc")....but enough already - three dead ones this week and one live one which I rescued (counting on buddhist karma points here).
Am now on 'rustle' alert for the ones that got away from the cat but are still living. In my house. I've resorted to wine to blank out the horror.

I would love to do the jazz thing but some thong is telling me I'm doing something - think it's the screening of Shirley - as in Bassey - one of the prodn companies made it for BBC2 ... Will check and let you know

Slowly getting into the day - dishes and laundry done, now just waiting for Jon my lovely gay chiropodist to arrive. He comes to my place once every 6 weeks and my tootsies feel wonderful afterwards.
