Must do more bodily function sharing - I've got a touch of polytrots ! Sugar free jelly earlier in the day, and then an Atkins bar, do not make a good combination.

Just feeling guilty about not being able to meet - love my work but it doesn't half get in the way of life :sigh:

Morning Jim, thanks for your lovely post - I know we have seen me lose and gain the same weight over and again - but I am determined to crack it this time!

If only the joy of being a woman didn't get in the way, blooming totm has slapped on 3lbs overnight, wondered why I was craving sweet stuff! Going to try really hard to get it off before Tuesday.

Nothing on the agenda here today. I was thinking about going to Ikea Croydon to look at kitchens, but the weather is pants, it's not much fun by public transport, it'll be packed and I'll probably growl at small children - so will keep my pmt at home

L - chicken salad
D - cheeseburgers with lettuce 'buns'

Just reporting back on the shake - it's the 90% soya protein one, made with 300g water, 100g soya milk and 1tsp hermesatas and 1 scoop of powder into an Atkins shaker with the metal thingie in it to get all the blobs out.

Carbs - 0.4g (0.2 for the powder, 0.2 for the milk)

Verdict - not bad, with a slightly gritty texture (the fibre, I guess?), could do with more flavour - S/F maple syrup or cocoa powder, maybe. It's not as thick/globby as the Atkins shakes, wonder if you could add xantham gum?? Oooh might try one with the orange da vinci syrup...

But let's face it, even if you had 4 of them, it's still a quick and easy breakfast for minimal carbs

Shakes sound really good and orange syrup yumm wonder if you blitz it in the blender with ice would it thicken it up?

Use less water in the shake n it'll be thicker. That's what I did.

Orbs is good but made me laugh so much earlier, she climbed into a paper shopping bag and managed to put her head through the handle

Well her new fave game is playing fetch with them. She literally shoves the straw in my face until I throw it, she legs it after it n then brings it straight back!! Failing that I extend the bendy bit, make it all bent n then twiddle it around n she catches n kills it lol. The ones I've got are jumbo length ones which once extended trail out behind her as she trots along carrying it in her mouth.

awww my mums cat used to love bags,when she was tiny
we used to show her a mirror,and she would puff up and
spitt at her reflection,and i taught her to play tag with me,

It's strange u say that. My bathrooms down a couple of steps. Kitty follows me literally everywhere, even into the bathroom. When I then walk out she runs after me n kinda catches/tags my ankles as I step up the steps with both her front paws in a clapping type motion lol. She only does it leaving the bathroom. Sometimes she sits in the bath whilst I'm busy n then when I turn to walk out she springs out the bath n tags me.
