Susie and Orbit's daily dribble

Tomato soup sounds good to me, Lisa - can you come round and make some for me? :)

I'll make some broth from chicken stock - and then I'm going to bed. Time for positive thinking - I am going to wake up feeling better tomorrow! :)

Hope you all had a good day.

Night night Susie! So sorry you're feeling so rubbish! Hope you get rid of it pronto! Xxx

Hope you feel better tomorrow sweetie
Xx

Thanks lovelies all the kind wishes and vibes have worked, I do feel a bit better - still tired, but nothing that another 8 hours in bed couldn't cure :D

Sadly I'm up and ready to head off to work, as soon as Mr Tesco arrives!

Also got good news re house sitters last night, looks like I have a lovely NZ girl to mind Orbit for me in situ while I'm away (recommended by a friend who uses a site called Trusted Housitters.com), so will meet her on the weekend and hopefully get it all stitched up.

Oh and did i mention that I'm in the press party for the Queen's visit to Greenwich next week?! Not bad for a Kiwi farm girl :D

Oh Susie! Good news that you're feeling slightly better, excellent news on the press party - go you Ms Farm Gurl ( will need an autograph next time we meet!!) and I'm so relieved about Orby!!! I've been feeling so worried and guilty! Xxxx

Morning Susie, glad to hear your feeling better!!!

Afternoon Susie, yes can I have an autograph too please ;) good news on getting Orby sorted. Loretta's cold has made a return with a vengeance, they do seem to be hard to shake off at the mo - hope yours clears soon. The itinterary for your hols sounds exhausting to me as all I do on holiday is lie on a sunbed for a fortnight ;) xxxx

Thanks all - you know I have such a lovely boss, he was telling me off for still being in the office at 7pm, bless :D

Di - don't be silly love, I knew we'd find an answer - and I couldn't promise there'd be no mice! :) I'm meeting a lovely woman called Shannon next week, who is very experienced in looking after cats and just laughed when I mentioned the mice issue. Apparently her last house sit cat brought in first a headless pigeon...and then the head....ewwwww! Amazing website, I've had seven people so far, all dying to look after HRH Orbit :D So, hopefully I can now book holidays in the knowledge that she'll be safe and happy :D

I've broken my no wine during the week and have a lovely cask white in front of me...nom nom :)

Really interesting to hear you are getting so many good sounding people - are they all from that website you posted? We need to look at for the summer as want to be away quite a bit and not fair on our boys!
Xxx

Here it is Katie - House Sitting & House Sitter Jobs | Dog, Cat & Pet Sitting | TrustedHousesitters.com

I got it as as a recommendation from a very good friend, so I paid the annual fee - about £30? But compared to those services where they just come in once day for a tenner a time, it seems like a good deal. And the emails back have been amazing - these people are all police checked, have brilliant references (all checkable) and are animal lovers.

Evening Susie!! You're steaming ahead with your plans! Xxx

Afternoon all

Been madly busy as usual but because of my cold I've handed over management of ITV who are filming 300 kids rehearsing this afternoon (for next week's queenie visit) - imagine the noise of 300 kids all shouting at the same time! LOL.

Will catch up properly later xx
