Susie and Orbit's daily dribble

What a brilliant week Susie, you must feel amazing. :D

I'm calorie counting too. I was at 1200 but after reading a couple of great threads on mfp, realized I should be more. I've increased my calories and lost weight!!

Let me know if you want the links to threads they are very good and makes low cal so much easier. x

Oooh yes please hun, I'd love to see those threads. I am sure that approach works, I'd been on 1000 cal days then shot up to about 1600 on the weekend, and today, show a good loss.

I am chucking everything at it this time :D I bought Zotrim tablets to help fill me up and keep hunger at bay, and there's a woman on the Lots to Lose section who swears by Paul McKenna's Gastric Band CDs!

Well done susie, What a fantastic loss!! Did you just fancy a change of diet? X

Thanks Dizzy :) TBH I was losing - and gaining - the same 2 stone on low carb over and over, so decided it was back to basics for me, particularly with a woe that would work better for me on long work days when I'd not prepared anything.

And thanks Val - will read those threads tonight :)

Morning all

Beautiful day here, blue sky, sun shining (a bit), a light haze over the Thames - ahhhhh :)

Didn't get to sleep until 1am, this new healthy lifestyle has me zinging full of energy! My new iPhone (a 4S - bought on eBay) arrived yesterday so I was setting it up - a lot simpler than it used to be, fortunately, and I love it - it's a lot faster than my 3GS - which will go on eBay this weekend.

Have a good day, everyone xxx

That's really interesting Val, thanks for the links :)

Scooby has set mine at 1865 a day to lose 65lbs in a year. I'm on between 1200-1600 and feeling comfortable with that for now - but will up cals on the weekend and see how that works out :)

Losing weight is a tricky business! :D

And I like how your ticker goes in reverse - good psychology :D

Morning all
I broke cardinal rule number 1 and did a sneaky mid week WI - and I've lost a stone woohoo!! :banana dancer::banana dancer::banana dancer:

Very chuffed, and getting plenty to eat, so this is for the long haul now :D Have just had a very Atkins brekkie - eggs, bacon, mushrooms - but done very low fat (so not Atkins in that respect :)).

And my portion size is reducing, and my need for snacks - got a WW bar out last night to have with a hot choc drink with Da Vinci gingerbread in it (LUSH!) - and didn't want it, so put it away again :D

Lovely! Shopping and relaxing followed by a couple of days off. Then last weekend we went to Brighton to see DS2. Stopped on the way to see my step-son and new baby. Could have done with another 2 days off to recover lol.

A stone!!! :woohoo:

So glad you've turned a corner with your dieting - I always say the right diet is the one you can stick to, and this sure looks promising! :D

Thanks guys - I am really happy on it, and it's much easier to fit round work and going out.

I'm off to dinner and movies with two friends tomorrow night, and we're meeting at Frankie and Bennys - which has a Lighter Options menu with the calorie count next to it :)

Dinner now - creamy chicken and spinach (with the cream coming from Quark :))

Thanks Sandra :)

All good here, slept a bit funny but the joy of living near to work is a sleep in until 8am :)

Off to see Cloud Atlas tonight with a couple of mates, really looking forward to it.

Sorry not been in here for ages but nice to see you doing so well Susie - sounds like a good fit for you this diet xxx
