Susie and Orbit's daily dribble

Oh Sharon, what a lovely post, that must have made you feel great :) My dream was me and Mum sitting with our arms round each other watching a sunset, and when I woke I had a real sense of having been cuddled - which was so wonderful.

Morning all - the Arctic wind continues, and is blowing right through the building. Grade I listed buildings are beautiful to look at but crikey they do let the cold in - it's so cold here I've got my heavy winter coat on!

But at least I have Italy to look forward to - got a call last night to say my booking for Tuscany is confirmed :bliss:

Got more Glowing Green Smoothie today, plus I got up a bit early and made some courgette soup - got to have something warm to eat today!

Keep warm, lovelies! xxx

Ooh Tuscany how lovely! We will be holidaying at home this year due to lack of funds. The sun has come out here and it's suddenly warm behind these full length windows but when the wind blows hard the whole place creaks and we question our safety lol

This wind would do that to any house, love - our very own Mistral :)

Have to report some food porn (for low carbers, that is) - strawberries dipped in Muller Light coconut yogurt mmmmmmmmmm :)

Yum indeed! :)

Morning all - been very quiet in the diaries lately, hope everyone is OK.

For no reason I've woken in a grumpy pants mood, not helped by a 45 minute wait for my bus (Blackwall Tunnel closed, causing chaos!) - oh well, deep breaths...

Still going well on cal counting, and still 100% alcohol free :)

Have a good one!

Hi there, well done on the cal counting, seems to be really suiting you well, it's so good to feel in control of what we eat. Hope you journey home from work is better this evening :)

So glad to see you doing well - despite the black mood today. Close your eyes and focus on Tuscany!

Morning all

A long work day yesterday but lots of good press so everyone's happy :)

Not too manic today, hopefully, and then a nice peaceful weekend.

Have a good one! :)

I've got a 4 day weekend planned :D It's so quiet around here isn't it! Nothing dietwise from me unless you count gaining? My aunt died on Wednesday so just waiting to hear when the funeral is. It's come at the worst possible time work wise with a big project on the go but I've been told not to worry.
Is it wrong to want a new top to wear and get my roots done? Seems superficial but I haven't seen my cousins for years so want to feel comfortable despite knowing there will be the 'hasn't she gained weight' conversations going on. Hope you have a lovely relaxing weekend xx

Yes it is quiet in here isn't it, strange - but I'll just keep chatting away to myself :D

Of course it's not wrong to want to look your best, love! Go get that new top and get your roots done - and a manicure, that always makes you feel good :)

Sorry to hear about your aunt though, were you close? And don't worry, the others will be thinking about your aunt, not you xxx

Morning all

Up bright and early, thanks to HRH Orbit in tow attack mode. On the plus side, the laundry is nearly finished, dishes are done and a beef and veg stew is in the slow cooker :)

Nothing much to do today - so time to catch up on reading, and try and get through a few of the 200+ free kindle cozy mysteries I've downloaded over the last six months

Morning :)

Up at 6am thanks to You Know Who - but might head back to bed with a cup of tea soon :)

This clean living is fab - a day of complete laziness stretches before me :D

Enjoy your day - whoever is around!

Morning all

Despite totm and an indulgent weekend (nearly died when I realised how many cals were in the lasagna I'd made!) - with chocolate, bikkies, bread and so on - I was sure I'd put on - but am happy to report that I've lost 2lbs - so I'm chuffed :)

Am going to change my WI to Fridays, so I don't feel so guilt-ridden over the weekend :D

Hope you are all well - wrap up warm, the ice age is back!

Well ladies and Jim

You won't believe this but Flat # 6 has just fallen through this afternoon. The bank refuses to lend on it until all the knotweed has been cleared (12 months plus) and possibly not even then, and it's unlikely that we'll find another lender. So that's that, then.

I must have done something very wrong in a past life...

Meanwhile London prices for a one bed garden flat have gone past my max borrowing limit.

So it's back to looking down the coast and renting out. Sigh....

Thanks hun - sadly the surrounding areas are pretty yuck. That's London for ya.

Easter may be spent househunting down the coast. I have some good options down there, but will only post links when I get a shortlist.
