Susie and Orbit's daily dribble

Morning!

Sossies for me too this morning :)

Collected more freecycle stuff last night (a table) and this morning I'm getting another wardrobe rack :D Poor orby is a bit overwhelmed with the furniture everywhere. I think that's it though, can't fit anything else in!

Have a good one, ladies xx

Morning susie, you should try the m&s pork sausages, very low in carb. It's the pack with the gold sleeve. Nice to read a fully atkins style menu :) you put me to shame.

Oooh thanks hun I'll check them out!

No racing about for me today after all, the people giving away the wardrobe rang to say they can drop it off instead, yaye! :)

The wardrobe got dropped off but it is broken and I don't have the tools to fix it, so have just lugged many pieces of balsa wood, etc, outside - someone will take it :)

And r-e-l-a-x with a vino or few time! My wrists, both sprained in the last year, have taken a battering - last night I had to carry the pine table down three flights of stairs. Just hope I can lift the wine glass to my lips :D

Have a good night, all!

Make it a big glass - then it counts as weight lifting which is exercise! :D:D

Morning susie, how was the very big weight lifting glass of wine?;)

Ouch. Your wrists sound sore, luckily there are medicinal powers in alcohol which can combat some wardrobe meddling in just a glass or 2. I don't actually drink wine, it does nothing for me other than make me loud and then fall asleep - and I have never liked the taste, strange huh?

Have a great day xx

Afternoon all

The wrists held up thanks, and a couple of friends piled round to help lift glasses, so am feeling some pain today - but it was excellent fun :) Bit of a straight protein day today - bacon and eggs for lunch, then will graze on some pork loin and chicken.

Have a lovely day :)

How come straight protein day, to compensate for carbs from wine?

Partly hun - but also not got much veg in the fridge :) Must do a shop!

The muffins sound great, I never thought of adding courgettes. Oooh spinach would work too :)

Just had a lovely hour or two having cuddly snoozes with Orby - she's not much of a cuddler, except for nap time :)

I had a nanna nap!! And it was lovely. Something so nice about napping in the afternoon x mind now can't be bothered to do any chores!! But I am sure they will wait for me x

Nana naps are great, especially with kitty cats :) Orbs loves curling right into me under the duvet, so cute!

I have been ravenous today, eaten so much. The vino, I guess...sigh...

Indeed we can't live like saints every day for the rest of our lives. In my opinion, if this WOE is for life we need to allow for these blips - nights out, celebrations, parties etc will always come around and cant be avoided. We may take the long way round to get to our goal but we'll get there in the end x

Morning lovelies

Advice received and taken on board! :) You're right of course, it's for the long haul - and I would happily have a small gain for a fab evening with my best buds, it was so much fun :D

Not very clean and green to start the day, though, I woke up late so tore to work, went to go and get bacon and eggs from the uni cafe only to discover I've only got 12p on me and they don't take cards. So had to go to our cafe (where they do take cards - but they don't serve food) and got coffee and a Natural bar. Full of carbs, I guess, but it can't be helped. I usually make egg muffins on a Sunday night, can't think why I didn't last night...

L - chicken salad
D - veg that needs using up and maybe some tuna

Have a good one! xxx
