Taz's diary - Need to do this!

Have a good day Taz x

Well I am planning a day trip on Thursday to gatecrash Gem and Mr Stone's holiday! It won't be a very early start so only a flying visit but a good one no doubt

Yay to the gatecrash - do we pick you up at Penzance, St Earth or St Ives? x

Ha ha! I've just posted Camborne on my diary - as it won't be a Wednesday x

This conversation is spanning 2 diaries! Well, if I am going to be out all day on Wednesday then I guess I better go and get some chores done or it won't all get done in time! Have a good day everyone x

Train don't stop Camborne Wednesday - Jethro said that. If you wanna get off there on a Wednesday you have to get someone to hold you out of the window and start running in the air before the train gets to the platform and they let you go! x

Unfortunately I won't fit thru the window Gem!

I don't usually report this but I went to Fat Farm last night and was surprised with a 2lb loss! I was very happy with that before christmas :D

Well for someone who has everything done I still managed to do another £80 shop in Tesco and Costco yesterday :( Still a few more essentials to get and I am off to Asda now to (hopefully) finish the food shopping. First stop Subway for the REAL essentials though

That was a big shop Taz - I hope you have everything now x

Almost Gem, another £30 in Asda today and I think I only have one thing left to get now. And milk. And I don't have any fishy stuff as I don't like fish but I know at least one guest does so I don't know whether to get fishy stuff or not :/

I had to do some Auntie Taz stuff today. I met up with a friend who see's me as a sister and into the bargain I have acquired a 14 year old neice. She was trying on jeans in Asda and emerged from the changing room looking horrified saying she needed the size 12 as the 10's she tried on were too tight. I told her that Asda were a small cut and it meant nothing then when she went back in to change my friend told me they were worried about her and her eating habits. Realising that the size was VERY important to her I asked my friend how she was paying for them. She said cash so I asked if she wanted me to take her to New Look to try some on as it's only a short walk to the retail park from Asda. She gave me the cash and me and the teen set off for New Look. On the way there we had a brief chat about the importance of good nutrition and eating regularly and the danger of skipping meals. She's not a stupid kid. Once we got to NL I found 2 pairs of jeans, one a 12 one a 10, and got her to try both on and see which ones were comfiest. As I wear them myself I know that there is some elasticity in them and they are cut better than the Asda ones so fit much better. The 10's fit her perfectly so we got them. She was very happy, crisis averted! I know it's easy to just buy from the store whilst doing the shopping but she goes to a girls school where image matters. Hopefully next time she needs jeans they will take the small detour to NL to get the ones that will make her feel better.

Well done Taz!! Are Asda really cut smaller? I've got into a size 14 of their work trousers but my belly was hanging over the top but it won't be long before I'm in them!!!

Enjoy your Gem day xx

Thanks Nomad. I find that they are cut higher which makes them fit very strange and most people have to go up a size to be comfortable in them.

Well I am off for a day trip today to my favourite takeaway on the beach. There's just something about it in this weather, stood outside in the cold with a hot choc and chips. Really looking forward to getting some sea air. It will be a looooonnnnnngggg lunch for me, I will be getting the train at 0913 and arrive back just before 10pm. Although my train isn't til 0913 I have to leave here in an hour as I have some things to do, the first of which being a visit to the post office!

The parcel saga: I arrived home yesterday to see the post van leaving my place and head up the road. I pulled up, picked up the card off my mat and followed the van up the road in time to see he's parked outside a neighbours house and gone inside..... where he stayed for at least the next half hour!!! Now, I don't know if he lived there or if it was just a cliche bored housewife but I really think he should NOT be conducting his private life on company time in a company vehicle with MY parcel on board! At this time of year I'd have thought there was a rush on to get all parcels delivered :(

I then have to go to Subway to pick up breakfast for me and Elf. I then have to go and pick up Elf as she has to go to the station this morning too so I am giving her a lift. My MP3 is fully charged, my Kindle is fully charged, I have everything I need in my bag and I'm ready to go!

See you all tomorrow x

I would love to know what he was doing in that house - but it would be so indelicate to ask wouldn't it. I'm looking forward to seeing the 2lbs lighter Taz later x

Morning all, had a great day yesterday thanks to Gem and Mr Stone. Those on Facebook will have seen our Santa spotting and I do believe Gem will later post pictures of her bacon and egg mishap!!!

I must finish the wrapping today although 2 stocking fillers still haven't arrived. I'm not convinced they will arrive on time now :( Apart from that I have everything and today it will all be done!

I then have cleaning to do and at various intervals friends to entertain who will be dropping by to exchange presents. I don't buy presents for friends as a rule but few are the exception.

After vowing that I have finished the food shopping I realised I forgot to get milk. I will just visit the small Tesco Express down the road tomorrow for that, no more big stores for me!

Have a good day
