Taz's diary - Need to do this!

Went for a swim yesterday morning and only allowed myself half an hour so I wouldn't over do it. I only got 20 lengths done which seemed so pathetic. I did use the float between my legs though and although I was very tempted to kick I couldn't so it works :) I am also using webbed gloves so it gives my arms a proper workout. I went again this evening after rehab for an hour and got 40 lengths done which is better but still only quarter of what I would usually aim for and half of a 'lazy' session. I'm sure I will soon get my groove back though.

Hoping for a good loss on Friday, I did have a sneaky peek at the scales and it's looking good but we shall see......

I can now get my work trousers on and done up but I can't walk, bend, sit or breathe in them! Another inch or 2 should do it! 5 weeks to go til I need them to fit

Morning all! It's Monday, that means the start of a new week and loads more rehab! Makes me tired thinking about it so I best just crack on and do it....

Hmm well I had a review with my chiropractor today and although she was very pleased with my progress she was also concerned that my knee is still giving out quite a bit. She is going to talk to my supervising physio and discuss with them whether it will improve with the rehab or if there is a problem. I saw the physio after and told her this and she said that I have made a lot of progress in the 2 and a half weeks so far and can't expect it all to be fine straight away. So it's a bit of a waiting game on that one now!
 
Morning all. It's Friday! That means WI and this morning it's only a 1lb loss but I'm ok with that. 6lb gone so far and more to follow. Hoping for a bigger loss next week. I know I've eaten a little too much a couple of times this week so I will just have to be a bit more aware of that next week.

I'm off for an early gym session, it's the last of the week so get it out of the way early :D
 
My scales are playing up again so I don't know if I will be able to WI on Friday. I will let them sulk for a few day and see if they decide to work when I need them to
 
Scales are now working but only if I leave them in situ. It seems they don't like to be moved :(

I have an appointment with my chiropractor tomorrow as my physio wants her to have a look at my knee cus the pain is stopping me doing stuff that could speed up my recovery. Spoke to one of my managers at work about it and we have pushed my return to work (full duties) back to 7th June. It just seems to be going on forever!
 
It'll take as long as it takes Taz - you have to go with the flow. It will happen - you are doing everything right x
