Morning all! Checked out the Sunday evening adults only lane swimming session last night. Made a start on the Channel Swim Challenge as I am house bound today because the kitchen is being plastered! Got 116 lengths done, which sounds like an odd amount but I have to do 1416 lengths for the challenge so it's all round 100's from now on 
Off to the gym in a mo to get that in before the plasterer arrives. I need to collect something from Argos but I can't remember if the plasterer is coming at 8am or 9am so I won't be able to get there until he is finished. Bit of a bummer really as what I have to collect would have given me something constructive to do while he is here!
All the kitchen stuff is being delivered on Friday so we have to clear a huge amount of stuff to make way for it. There is a lot of work to do in a rather short space of time :/

Morning all! I lost 1lb this week which means I hit my 2nd mini target. On to the next one now, hoping to smash that one so I can get working on those extra lbs I need for the big 50 at the end of the year! Can I do it?!
Kitchen is being delivered today. The dining area is empty and ready for it all to go in. I only hope it all fits into the space we have! The plaster is almost dry, I really need it to be dry by this evening so we can paint the sealer on it. Then we can paint tomorrow so it will be all dry and ready for the work to start on Monday

Morning all! Well the workmen are here and the kitchen work is starting! They are hoping to finish on Thursday so that will be good as we come back home on Thursday. Then on Friday we have booked to go away for the weekend, 3 nights in a spa hotel! We had arranged to meet with some friends in Blackpool to see the illuminations and for our annual meet up and whilst looking for somewhere reasonably priced to stay we found what looks like a nice place in a lovely setting (100 acres) with spa facilities! So we decided to book for 3 nights as it looks more like a place we will want to spend time at rather than just somewhere to sleep. Here's hoping it lives up to our expectations!
