i pedalled my little legs off.. thank god the gym was quiet because the match was on! :p

i think this is the furthest ive ever pedalled in one go.. i managed 25 minutes and 54 seconds.. and was pretty damn proud of that.. so i took a photo (again, thank god the gym was quiet! :p)

Good morning everyone.
I hate these early get ups at the weekend but another 8 hour shift for me.
On the plus side, WI this morning and lost 1 1/2lbs which puts me back on track after last weeks gain of 1 lb.

Get on that bike Lucy.

I doubt that I can do 15k in the time that Aesir and Black Widow have done, so see if you can.

I'm not worthy, i'm not worthy....

28.54 for me and seriously I couldn't of done it any faster.

Not about to make an excuse, more just sharing - I got to half way and knew I was under 7.5km so tried to up the pace - around 35km per hr I got to at one point and my poor little ticker didn't like it one bit - got a terrible ache and took it as a sigh to slow to my normal 30-32km per hour.

All I have to say is a massive WELL DONE to you two (and Ange with her amazing 10mins of corse!!)

And now, I need a serious shower, sweating much??

Great challenge though, made me work hard which is great!!!!
 
We all have kettlebells shall we challenge ourselves this week with those? I'm going to, even if others don't wanna join in :)

This week:

200 swings
100 cleans
100 presses
100 bicep curls
 
all in one go?! :( that sounds like torture but i will give it a go - top of my bum is hurting from pedalling yesterday so im glad its not another day of pedalling just yet :p

are we continuing the bike challenge because we said we'd do three lots i think? x
 
Yes to both for me - I take it Aesit that you mean thats the amount you will aim for for the week..at least I hope so!

I personally shall be trying to beat my time throughout the week as it was a real good work out for me.
 
me too.. im thinking though that im on proper full scale gym equipment, so it might be more built for faster / harder workouts than home equipment?

i thought i'd be last to be honest, heaving my 18st legs around! :D
 
Noooo thats over the week lol! Think my limbs would snap off if I did that every day :)

Busy day! Piano practice, then violin, then bike, then kettlebell, then piano and violin lesson. But I'm tiiiiiirrrreeeed

the music has a massive thing to do with it.. i just cant pedal as fast to slow music! i have to have all the trashy dance music on.. coupla rave tunes and im pedalling away as fast as I can :D
