This Little Piggy Goes to Atkins

So, day one is complete. I have consumed 2 shakes, one bar, one bouillon, a million coffees and 4 litres of water. I feel very pleased with myself that I made the decision to follow D, and take off a bit more weight this year. I should be just about at goal for new year, and will be so very happy to start 2013 in that position. Every year I've started with that dream, and this year I'll have done it!

Well done on getting through your day! Can't say the hungry posts are making me at all envious but it's great to see you so positive!

Thank you.

Day two is here, I'm excited. After work today I'm having my hair done. Then I'm off til Monday, have thurs and Fri with Mr to celebrate our wedding anniversary which is actually on Sunday. Unfortunately he'll be working nights over the weekend. Never the mind, we'll do something over these next few days, maybe see James Bond.

Feeling good today, clean inside, and happy I'm on the vlcd path, smug almost.

I think all mils are programmed not to like dils......

my MIL hates me, so does his sister, they all think i am a snob, I'm not they are just pond life so Kerry Katona would seem sophisticated! lol,

it usually boils down to jealousy, i dont have to do anything to pee that lot off just breathing is enough xx

Feeling guilty to say I have a lovely mil. :)

Don't feel guilty, life would be alot simpler if that were the case in our house. We just don't really have much to do with his side of the family.

I do know all about Opo, we got taught it at school :)

Wow Hokianga - not many tourists get there, what made you pick it? I'm from the Coromandel, a bit further down :)

My closest, lovely, wonderful family are in Whangarei. It's where I escaped to when my mum left, and where my most formative years have been spent. So they, along with my other lovely family from Auckland, were the only people we wanted at our wedding and we all voted to go up to the top (ish).

So glad to be home now for four days. My hair looks lovely (for the rest of the day) and I'm pleased with how she's done it. The house is warm and cosy, a blessing because I'm feeling quite chilly inside. I'm hungry and just had a bouillon, the shake won't be far off.
The kind neighbours didn't want any money for the scuff on their new beamer, in fact they had bought Mr Lovely a bottle of wine & chocs, presumably for his honesty and very worried face!

Husband is eating Courgetti pesto, smells yum. I've had a chocolate Exante with praline syrup, not bad actually. Am so cold, but just got wrapped up in Slanket, and have a living, four legged, hot water bottle!
