im not sure how you do your hills but i used to downgrade them and slow down to get myself to the top and im talking really steep ones so perhaps try that unless of course thats what your doing or are you doing speed?

I'm doing neither, I just want to be able to run it! Naturally I slow down on the hills though. I'm just taking it as they come.

Yep! Stupidly my shoes were a little to big and managed to topple over (well backwards) whilst walking down some stairs! Both shoes went flying. Needless to say they are in the naughty cupboard and wont be coming out again for a while! haha

Oh dear Tanya, poor you. Hope the ankle is feeling a bit better.

Hows the hips?

Ankle is much better today. Still a slight twinge but i'll be fine for running tomorrow.

My thighs and bum on the other hand are a different story! That spin class was tough on them and the saddle :mad:

Made pancakes for the family today and didnt touch a single one! :) Felt bad as I went up and saw my grandma earlier and she wasnt having any cuz she didnt have any eggs so I told her to come down but she wouldnt so after i'd made them at my house for the family me and my brothers gf went up to see her and made her some pancakes. She's a little emotional today so she enjoyed us being there.

Thanks ladies :) The ankle was ok, much much better and today its almost back to 100% - though I can feel its bruised when I put pressure on it but otherwise fine.

I had my eyebrows waxed today along with a back massage thats on offer at the salon where I go and it was lovely!

Rest day today so no phys!

Flip-flops are probably just as dangerous Mary.... they can cause serious achillies problems! :(

Just a quick one to say today I got on the scales. I'm angry & disappointed. I've lost a pathetic 0.25lbs. I just don't get what i'm doing so wrong!!!!!!!! It's that pathetic i'm not even guna bother changing my ticker.

I'll be back later after my run & body pump to update food.
 
Aww Tanya, I am gutted for you. Nobody deserves good losses more than you do with all the exercise and menu planning that you do.

I really dont know what to advise you on your diet, because basically I cant see anything dreadfully wrong with it. Are you still thinking about seeking advice from a nutritionist?
 
Its just so frustrating and disheartening :cry: I'm really trying but yet I get rewarded with that. Someone told me on twitter that the body works a week behind so I shall see what next thursday brings (has to be thursday as up super early fri as off to bristol for the first of 3 weddings in 6months!!:rolleyes:) and if still no improvement then i'm guna have to go see a nutritionist. I have no idea how much they cost though, probably quite a bit! :(

I'm even contemplating cutting calories more. It works out I have on average 1,500calories a day which according to the bmr is a defecit of 750 which should = a 1.5lb loss a week. I dont eat all of my calories burnt, I don't even know what I burn in the phys classes so I just. dont. get. it. :mad:
