Fat birds can't fly

I really can't decide which diet to try and concentrate on! I'm pissin useless lol SW means lots of cooking etc calorie counting means being hungry haha but it feels more satisfying when you have stuck to it, bah what to do what to do!

Just had a read through :) well done on your weight loss, I reckon I'm gonna stick with ccing, I find it easy and know it works, I just need to focus for more than a day lol really wish I was one of these people that never put weight on hah x

I've just read Lucy's story, she looks amazing, I really want to achieve that again! Next week, I think I'll get that gym membership I should of got ages ago, last time I lost the weight, I did just over 3 stone in 4 months, that was of hard work and strict diet so it's no wonder I'm not loosing any now cos I haven't felt like I've done any hard work for ages! I'm laying in bed now, feeling sick cos I ate a whole big eat of cadburys buttons earlier, I feel rotten it's not healthy and mentally not right, I actually feel like I'm in a sumo suit, and feel at rock bottom :-/ time to do something about it, x

I can't sleep :-/ so I made my dinner for tomorrow

Small butty, strawberries and a kiwi fruit, I'll take a banana with me too, not bad eh!

I think preparation is the key now, I've got some chicken out too :)

My dogs moody with me she's giving me the 'please go to bed and turn the light out so I can sleep' look lol

Haha the pooch's face... classic.

Lunch sounds good- planning ahead really helps with CC I think.

If you are feeling hungry on it are you getting loads of protein? That helps. Also- I have upped my calorie target to 1350 from 1200 and am losing better. You might need to go a bit higher, especially if you are going to hit the gym!
 
I think I'm scared of upping my calories lol cos generally when I count the food I always think 'oo I'm a few calories over this and that' so I always over count so I'm either getting less or under 1200 whether or not. I started at 1400 not so long back but I was going over by about 100 per day, at 1200 gives me that gap to go over abit without feeling like I've over eaten that day!

I'm actually bonkers lol gymming, I'm gonna eat more protein to fill me up, gonna be on 1200 cals from now til next thurs when I join :)

I went to the gym yesterday!! Haha I proper sweated my boobies off lol felt dead good! I know a lot of people there too and they were glad to see me back hah x

Cringe! We had a BBQ yesterday I started drinking at 1pm. Cringe cringe! I was hammered said a lot of things and just pure cringe :-(

Just read your diary, I'm older than you but i eat very similar, big on snacking and picky bits.
I've wacked on a ton of weight and restarted calorie counting two weeks ago.
My opinion is you are not eating enough which is why you are snacking. You could possibly eat a few more calories but i think you need to be cleverer about what you eat. Also don't ever get starving as you will jusy eat up eating the wrong things. Try and keep blood sugar regular and don't go to long between meals/snacks

Try wholemeal toast rather than the white Danish. It might be higher calorie but it will keep you fuller and give a steadier blood suger.

Plan healthy snacks. I like to have three krisp rolls and a pot of EL Philly. Less than 150 cals and really fills you up. Add small handful of proper oats to a muller light, it hardly adds any calories but fills you up more and for longer.

Try and avoid too much suger, it'll send your blood sugar racing and then you'll get massive spikes and slumps. If you have to have suger try and match it with something slower releasing. A pot of chocolate philly on one slice of wholemeal toast feels and tastes naughty. You get the instant hit from the choc and the slow burn from the wholemeal toast.

You don't mention it, but drink a fair amount of water. Aim for 6-8 glasses a day.

Plan your food. I use MFP to plan my meals and then i can eat snacks up to my calorie limit knowing i have enough for dinner.

Finally if you need something naughty feeling, did you know mini milk ice lollies are only 30cals?
Also pots of sugar free jelly are only 10cal.

I hear ya girl, I'll try changing a few things :) gettin my gym membership on thurs when I get paid lol I've been hungover today! STILL lol start my new job in a cafe tomorrow, so I'm hoping keeping myself busy helps out with the weight loss, tonight in the cards for tea, comfort eating with a yummy shep pie haha surprisingly I actually made it with less than 5% fat lean mince,

I am never drinking that much again, I had half a bottle of vodka, vodka jellies, jäger shots, and started in the peroni's from 1pm-1am I drank my liver to death and dont recall anything :-/ cringe

The gym I go to, is a bodybuilding gym lol my brother's friend goes, and he's massive! People stop and stare when he lifts a weight haha anyhow, he apparently wants to train me eek! So girls looks like I'm gonna be a bodybuilder haha

Weight lifting is good- building muscle will boost your resting metabolism apparently!

What else is on your gym routine? Cardio? Classes? Have you done couch2 5km before? Running is such an amazing work out
 
Let him train you, you won't get massive manly muscles because I don't think women can, it's something about men having testosterone and more muscle to start with, if you do cardio too the weight will drop off ya, if I'm right a pound of muscle burns 50 cals more than a pound of fat even when your not moving :)
Let the muscle man train you up, if for nothing else you can say " can you show me how to do it again" but of eye candy ;) :D xxx
 
Haha he's not a bad looker, but he's naughty! Eyeing me up and giving me the come to bed eyes haha

First day at work today, omg I'm knackered but still going to the gym haha going in a min,

I'll be doin half hour of cardio, tread and bike :) x
