Actually I thought that when I typed it in .. apart from the biccies and the cuisine of course ;). If you knew what I'd had monday and tuesday you wouldn't be saying that though, LOL!! And yes - holiday mode .. BOOOO!! ;) xx
 
I thought I was going to be reading some monster list of bad foods you'd had yesterday, but it wasn't very bad at all!
 
Weeeellllll not until I had the piece of bread & butter & the milky way cake bar in work, the toast and biscuits at mums, the bueno from the newsagents and the 2 pieces of toast, butter & jam I had before I came to bed this morning :(:(:( xx

Well were having a tesco meal deal tonight only were not sharing the wine ;), finishing off the packing & were off in the morning. I'm going to try to resist the temptation to get my laptop out so this may be my last post before we go.
I don't know the wifi situation over there but if I can I'll probably post - if not here on fb.

Ooooooo this is odd ... I'm sure I'll get used to it though :)

I'm Baaaaaaaaaa-aaaaaaaaaack!! :D:D Been back since Saturday night but have resisted the temptation to get on the laptop at night and I've enjoyed the freedom .... I know that sounds mad. I've been doing some things on my phone but Minis wasn't very successful on there - despite the App.

I've just got an hour before art so thought I'd say hello. I won't get caught up on the threads though - probably not till friday night in work.

I've put on an absolute ton of weight and have not yet managed to pull anything back :( ... It was worth it though - it was brilliant. I'll be sorting out the photies at the weekend too.

Well I'm embarrassed to have to admit that I've gained a whole stone :(:(. Apart from being All Inclusive in The Maldives I lost the plot for a week or more before we left as you know and have been an absolute pig since we're back ... until today. Today I've been a little star (well - quite a large one actually! ;)) And I've been running to the loo all day which is a sure sign something's shifting as we all know.
It's over a month since I last weighed and actually still haven't 'officially' .. ie. gone downstairs on the newer scales. The old ones have given me enough of an idea & if I weigh officially I'll have to record it.I KNOW it's crazy but I'm going to hang on and 'record' a (hopefully) smaller gain next week.
There is no way on the planet I'll be able to lose it all before Malta but I AM going to do my very best to get as much off as I can. After that I'll have 3 months before Kefalonia to hopefully lose the rest and any Malta gain. I doubt if I can be back to 10st 1lb to go to Kef as I was last year .. and I could kick myself coz I felt so good then. I wish I could understand why we do it - coz maybe if I could understand it I could do something about it eh!!
Just thought - there's also no way I'll be able to be what I was on my TFR anniversary last year ... 9st 13.6lbs - in fact I'll be extremely lucky to be only a stone more than that ... but I just have to keep reminding myself that it's a hell of a lot better than the nearly 16st I started off at and that 10.5st is my official target - not 10st 1lb or 9st 13!!

I'm not going to itemise my intake ... I don't want to get moved! Suffice to say it will most probably involve using up products and low carb meals ... wish me luck folks! :)
 
Aw Jan , such a pity about the gain. I felt the same after my Xmas gain and wondered why do I undo all the good. It is so easy to hit a downward spiral.
As always, you stop the excess before the stones really start clocking up. In my mind that is the best effort any of us can make at maintaining. If it was any easier then we'd never get fat in the first place!!
You are sounding very positive and determined and that's a great start. So cherish the memories of the great time you had, set a realistic goal for your next holiday and knuckle down to some healthy eating, small portions and oodles of water. Most of the holiday gain will be gone in no time at all.
Good luck for " official" weigh in!
 
Ah Jan I reckon you could make a nice little dent in that gain before Malta if you do what you're doing now :)
And don't worry about being back to where you were on your tfr anniversary last year, if you're a few lbs up thats ok, like you say a heck of a lot better than almost 16st and keep that original goal in mind :D

I AM working on the pics Tan ... last night I went through and deleted all the cr@p ones and resized them. I'm hoping to get quite a few up on FB later, I'll just attach a few here. We took literally hundreds between us and I'm only sorting out my own!! Just about the ONLY decent one of the 2 of us together is on John's camera - I've got one I might post but it's not very good.

I've been 100% and half way through my 2nd day now :) xx
