That's just how it felt too
Still doing well, feeling a bit hungry from time to time so upping water/drinks to see if that helps. I really want to be as good as I can be for the next few weeks at least. Planned 'night off' on Wednesday when I'm taking my DIL for a meal and to the theatre for her 30th then the next thing is 11th May - DH's birthday when we'll be having some sort of celebration - thinking of maybe a fish & chip supper for all the family, including my sister & BIL who'll be over from Cyprus and my Mum. Not as expensive as taking everyone out but not as much work as a DIY 'party' ... not sure yet.
I'm not even going to have a l'il tipple tomorrow or Tuesday ... well that's the plan up to now anyway xx

HaHa .... I'm HERE!
I didn't unpack my laptop at home while I was off - I rarely do when I'm only off the 2 nights but of course I had the extra night off with taking DIL out. We had a lovely evening. Shared garlic mushrooms and then I had linguini carbonara and she had a chicken caesar salad. Then in the theatre she insisted on buying me a bag of maltesers and of course I scoffed the lot. We had wine as well and I had a couple of v&cs when i got home. Oh YEAH! and a pkt of cheese & onion crisps
Straight back to it today though and I've been really good with the exception of 3 mystery flavour crisps .. I think they were some sort of sauce or branston or something like that - but I don't know.
Onwards and downwards now - 5 weeks tomorrow till John's birthday. xx

Sounds like you had a lovely evening with DIL No harm in having a day like that now and again.
Are you working all weekend then Jan?

Oh HAHAHA! No wonder the 6 packs of crisps were only 50p!!! LOL!! Go me for getting halfway there with the sauce ... Birmingham chicken balti??? Is chicken balti different in Birmingham then?? How odd! Probably just to stop anyone winning the £50k - who'd have guessed that??!!
I'm afraid i had a little bit of a bingey morning - started with 4 squares of choc and 2 little Lindt balls at work, continued with toast, clover, pate & jam (not on the same piece) and a few biccies at Mum's and ended with more toast, spread and jam at home.
Tonight when I got up I had pilchard salad and at mum's I had a slice of lunch tongue and a baby bel light. Not as 'good' as I'd hoped but not as bad as it could have been!
I'm weighing on Monday and it's gonna be a gain - quite a sizeable one I know. I could have done better to minimise it but I did have 5 good days before the night out and will now have another 3 (fingers crossed) - then I'll know what I'm up against for the 4 weeks I have to do something about it!!
I'm only doing 2 nights this week tan with taking wed off so I finish in the morning xx

Well been and gone and done it .. hopped on them there scales this morning AND ..... DA DA DAAAAAAA ...... up by 9.6lbs!! Goodness knows what it would have been if I hadn't had those 'good' days in between. LOL!! Down to it now - 4.5 weeks to get off what I can xx

I'm sure you will shift a fair bit in four weeks particularly if you can keep off the alcohol.
I know when I avoid it, the weight shifts easily for me. I just keep visualising the alcohol being converted straight to blubber, which is the reality, and it keeps me focused.
Well done for making a determined start!
