Will try to watch it before I go to bed but DH really annoying and makes constant comments about it all which make me want to stab him as it spoils my watching soooooo much!!!!! xx

I used to be hooked on BB until a few years ago, when I started taking my holidays at the same time. I missed the first week, and I never got back into it then.

Cant say I miss it now though.

Had a late one last night - reminiscing, playing certain music etc etc so feel a bit 'fazed' today - tired, eyes like p holes in the snow etc .. LOL what am I like

Been out for a mooch round shopping centre & Aldi. Got the helium balloons to let off in the morning at the 1st tee where Dad used to play golf.

Took myself off to the seafront for lunch.

Start work tonight

Thursday 18th August

Breakie - Berrries & ff from frais

Lunch - BLT with no spread and a side salad. It was brown bread - but it WAS only brown - it wasn't wholemeal unfortunately

Tea - Youngs fish pie thing with stir fry. Shape zero

Work - Chicken & cottage cheese salad with a Warburton's stoneground roll to put some on. Small pear, small nectarine & a plum. xx

Edit - 6am .. 2 of those pesky little bite size caramel shortcakes GRRRR! xx

Ah the balloons is such a lovely thought. It's like setting a spirit free, isn't it. He will be looking out for you. I believe those we have loved are never very far away from us.

Me too Irish. I talk to Dad (and others!) all the time. He got me a FAB parking spot literally right outside the party shop where I got the balloons today. Before I left the house I checked my purse and had no change for the car park. The few spaces on the road by the row of shops are always full as they're the only free ones around and it's a very short walk into the main centre from there. So I just said 'Dad? I need a space on the road - ta', knew there'd be one - and there was xx

im sorry to butt into your conversation but i just had to say i thought how wonderful that was xx i totally get what your saying as and dont laugh at this but when im out running and i get too hot and i say, come on mum make the wind blow and it always does..always

As a matter of fact it was thunder and lightening here. I had another 'word' and sure enough the rain had all but stopped as I was loading wheelchair, mother etc into the car. By the time we were at the golf course (5 mins later) the sun was cracking the flags and it was really warm. We let the balloons off, had a cup of coffee, I took mum home and not long after we got back the heavens opened again. Good ol' Dad yet again x

Friday 20th August (I just typed September! DUR!!)

Had l'il skinny, floppy (it was so thin) crust off a wholemeal nimble with phili light in mum's before we went to golf course.

Breakie - nectarine with shape zero

Bed

Tea - small tin of pilchards in tom sauce & salad

Nectarine & shape zero at Mum's tonight

Work - chicken & cottage cheese salad, Stoneground wholemeal roll to put some on. Small pear & a plum xx

The weirdest thing just happened to me! You'll never believe it!

I went out to the kitchen in work to make a cup of coffee and I could hear this noise. I couldn't quite figure out what it was but when I looked I could see that there was movement in the box that the mini caramel shortcakes come in. Wondering what on earth was going on I opened the box - well they obviously didn't like that because one of the little blighters flew right up into my face!! I was so astounded my mouth dropped open and the damn thing went straight in!
WELL!! Terrified of choking I bit down on the little s0d chewed it and swallowed it!!!
That'll teach them not to mess with ME!!!!!!

Told ya you wouldn't believe it xxx
