I want one of the circular blocks that he does aswell.
He uses a grated bit of that in recipes etc Its meant to be delish!
 
I really don't like dark chocolate tho ... do you think this would be different?? x
 
Hmmm doubt it Jan. It's probably quite bitter just like most dark chocolate. You can only give it a whirl, but might be a waste of money if you end up not liking it! :giggle:
 
Guys, I HATE dark choc..I am a white choc girl and so is the hubby BUT, we both really really like this! It isnt moreish, which is good..it has got a really strange sweetish taste for dark choc....so, YOU might just like it!

Sure it was Waitrose we got it; either there or Harvey Nichols in Manchester!! Cant remember now. Although, you can buy it online on his website!

But for almost 70% cocoa, it is palatable!
 
Friday 30th April

Breakie - Fresh Pineapple

Lunch - friend came, we had baked salmon with roasted toms, onions, mushrooms & courgette followed by pineapple, raspberries, blueberries & strawberries mixed in halves of the scooped out pineapple 'shell' still with the leaves attached (saw it on 'come dine with me once, Lol!) - it looked really nice. She had creme fraiche & I had a little ff from frais.

For tea I'm having the veg soup I made a bucketload of yesterday and I'll also take some of that to work. May have some salad veggies as well at either or both of those meals, or in between. xx

Edit - Had a pear at mum's coz I got that horrible shakey feeling.
Didn't have anything other than the soup at home so that was okay.
I've brought some salad and a few raspberries with me to work to have after the soup later. x

LOL! Didn't warm the plates today .... can't be expected to manage EVERYTHING! ;) ... didn't want my friend to think I was TOOOO posh anyway ;) xx

Thanks Tan - I'm beginning to get a bit hungry though. I'm glad I'm planning to add a bit more in tomorrow night!

Later on I had a plum as well

I've brought to work another bucket of soup and some salad veggies.

This will be a record! No extras either at work or at Mum's for a whole rota!! ;):) It better be worth it - wi when I wake up tomorrow (mon) afternoon! xx
 
your doing brilliant Jan, cannot wait to see how you get on with weigh in. I have ordered the fat busters diet book, thought I would do it for a week a two and see if I can lose this 4 pounds I want to shift, so will be watching with interest how you get on with your soup.

Lost 2.6lbs :) ... As usual I'd have liked more (wouldn't we all :)) and did actually expect a bit more but this is probably because when I've done it before I've been a lot worse before it iykwim. This time I wasn't pigging out beforehand so I guess that way this is a genuine loss again iykwim! And I DID only do it for 3 days.

So I'd still like to lose another 3lbs before I go away in 2 weeks - but I'm not displeased.

Monday 3rd May

Tea - soup :eek: ..... then a bit later stir fried chicken & veg.

I WILL still be having a couple of v&cs tonight but only 2 (is the plan ;)) xx

Edit - had 3 :eek: and 2 slices ham

Tuesday 4th May ..... STAR WARS DAY!!!!!! (May the fourth be with you ;))

Breakie - didn't have any fruit & didn't want to jump straight back into a really carbie breakfast so I had a summer fruits shake - it's really filled me up too!

I'm taking out a jar of soup (it should be all gone tonight YAY!! Only coz I've made DH have some) - I say a jar because I use a coffee jar to transport it. I'll have that at Mum's after I've taken her shopping.

Don't know about tea yet - I'll be getting that when I'm out.

Well done on the loss Jan, seems to me you are doing brilliantly at this maintaining lark. I will be calling on you for advice when my time comes again. Keep up the good work.
 
Hiya Bev! .... It's no walk in the park. I've said it before but I don't yet think/act like a thin person. I'm still yo-yo-ing only now it's with lbs rather than sts .... It's not the answer though - if i come across that I'll let you know ;):)

So the rest of Star Wars day .....

.... I had the soup at Mum's (and 2 slices of ham) but I couldn't face it tonight. I'll have what's left for lunch tomorrow.

Tea - Big salad with vlf salad cream and a chicken breast from a supermarket cooked chicken. I don't normally buy these because of them being injected with oil but Mum loves them and they're too big for her so I brought half of it home.

May have a coupla v&cs after ;) :) xx

Edit to add - 2 slices of ham with phili light and a couple of baby beetroots
