Minimins High Summer 2021 challenge

First month down and lost 4llbs in total. 2lbs first week then sts sts then 2lbs when i weighed in this morning, its creeping along slowly (16st/224).

Thankyou, funnily enough I hadn't noticed that when I changed my numbers this morning. I was just pleased to have lost. Seems a fight to lose every pound at the minute. I wonder if I have to reduce my portion sizes a little to achieve better results. But a balancing act as on two medications that increase appetite so easily get hungry. Try to fill up on fruit and veg with minimum calories rather than crisps and bars which use to my old go too. So trying to break those habits as well.

Woo hoo, I'm am 500g down this week. Still moving slowly towards my goal but hit an important milestone of now 10kg lost for this year. That's my covid gain from last year now gone. Now to work on the gain of the previous 24years😂

STS for me this week. Was very good with my food but the change from walking every day to not being allowed to walk at all is killing me. My watch says I am burning about 5,000 - 6,000 calories a week less than I used to. And I miss walking. It is very disheartening. But I will plod on.

And it must feel amazing to have rid yourself of the COVID kilos. Well done @tipperary.

Oh a positive note at least you haven't gained. I can understand your frustration I can't exercise like I use to. Not that I did too much but I did some but my hip is so painful due to bursitis. It is frustrating when our bodies let us down but onwards and downwards is my motto.

Good idea, none of us know how our weight loss journey is going to pan out. Now you seem to be losing about 2lb the new target is within reach so keeps you motivated to attain it. So much easier in my opinion if you think you can attain the target in X number of weeks if you put the work in,

Thank you , when I set the target it would have been in line with my losses and tfr expectations. Things changed and I’m glad I adjusted my goals, this way if I come back in line I’ve over achieved 😂😂
 
Although I've only been checking in monthly had to share my 2lb loss this week that has now taken me into the 15s for the first time in decades.. cheered me right up. So now 222lbs / 15st 12lbs / 101kg :bunnydance:
