some bloke was found with serious injuries somewhere behind the jewellers I think. They were trying to work out whether he slipped on the ice or was attacked. Dont know if he's still alive or not.
well today has been busy, but not as busy as yesterday and not as cold either. I was in a foul mood today, mrs stickinsect was getting right on my nerves. worse than normal. I forgot to cook any jacket potatoes till a customer came in and asked for one (oops) then someone came in with an order for over 20 sandwiches and she clarted on doing er nothing till I'd already done about half of them. She's soo slow and messy aargh. I watched her yesterday and icovered how she gets everything all over the jars, she pours the stuff out of them!!!! I think I huffed her cos I commented on it and she wiped it clean after so then evertime since she's been looking to see if I've watched her do it. I'm sure I must do things that bug her too but i don't care about that she hasn't mentioned anything (probably doesn't are yet) It annoys me how she cuts the onions tomatoes cucmber and peppers, oh and the lettuce while we're on. She hit my hand with the blade of the bread knife today too. She's so clumsy. she has no idea about prioritising and luttle things like doing cold sandwiches first so the hot ones dont get cold while youre doing the rest. she will faff on for ags before actually serving a custoer. I don't know what she was doing but I had a whole sandwich made paid for and probably eaten before she got round to serving the next customer. If she was one of my kids I'd be shutig at her to get a move on and stop messing about. How do you say that to a grown adult in front of customers?
Oh well.
Mr builder came in twice today. didn't talk to him though I was too busy.
i had to order extra bread for tomorrow.need 60 white buns I hope the woman didn't miss hear me and think I said 16 or we're going to have problems.
It took me aaages to get home tonight. It must have taken an hour to just get out of newcastle never mind get the rest of the way home. If there's no traffic it only takes about 20 minutes for the full journey. I was stuck next to st james' park for at least 40 minutes without moving at all. Don't think it was anything to do with the fact there'sa match on there tonight. Maybe more to do with a 3 car pile up somewhere else in town and there ws a mini stuck on the redheugh bridge when I finally got that far. I have never seen it that busy there even when it's been about 5 o clock so had to be something up.
I was so fed up yesterday I ate. I had crisps and a pot noodle. I'm still tired and fed upand the house is still a mess and the presents still need to be wwrappe. I have to go in work early tomorrow and will most llikely still be knackered when I get home.
Just had brocolli, asparagus, sprouts and mushrooms for tea. Son number 3 (or twin 2 whichever you prefer (they actually have twin 1 and twin 2 on their birth certificates and the time of birth)) made it for me. Isn't he sweet. Well he cut it up and put it in the steamer and I turned t on then put it on my plate when it was finished. it as a bit boring though. I should have made some sort of sauce to go with it. I'm sick of chicken thoughI need something else insted of chicken to eat.
