Nomes diaries

That's right! I forgot they moved the course- coleraine is very cold :) without sounding like a stalker where do you travel from? ;)

I did my Pgce in queens and loved it- to get in its good if you have some experience in youth work etc xx

Coleraine is cold and rains all the time ha :) much like its name! Not stalkerish at all ha! Near ballymena so not too far!

Yep getting my vetting though at the moment so I can be a supervisor at a sat night church youth club!

That's not too far at all- you're used to the cold weather in ballymena hey! Ha ha ha!

I've just had two ww wraps and three small sausages- since this week was ruined from the weekend I don't think it matters too much that I had six pp today lol

Good start to getting prepped for Pgce x

My days been good :) lost 4lbs at wi :D have a pile of essays to be doing but at the moment planning next few days of simply filling! How bout you?

Well done!! That's a fantastic result!!

What essays do you have?? Who are your lecturers? I miss uni :)

I'm good today- still hip pain but striking tomorrow so going to rest up.

Keeping myself out of the kitchen- pain = chocolate!

Aw do you have a bad hip? I do a feminist writing module, romantic poetry and then im doing a Tennyson essay at the moment also! Dissertation next semester :) I loved it till this semester ha...so stressed!

X

Ah I really miss it now! I did feminism module every year- my degree was humanities:english - is ronnie bailie still teaching??

I have prolapsed discs and as a result have inflammation in my hips- can be a bugger lol!

Nope don't think so, I haven't come across him or heard of him anywho! What did you do your dissertation on?

Aw sounds awful :( is there anything medical that can be done to mend it or is it a case of tholling the pain?
X

Grin and bear it lol- walking helps relieve the pain but that's tiring too. I hate painkillers so usually try to get through without them :)

I did my dissertation on the piano- ever watched it? What about Kathleen? I did my degree ten years ago so I'm sure the old faces have been replaced! What age are you if you don't mind me asking?

Is that McCracken...if so i think shes in the faculty? Never had her though! Im 21 :) Never watched that, im interested in freud and psychoanalysis so want to maybe go down mental illness in literature..dont want to be cliche and go for Plath though so im reading around at the moment..also interested in feminist works, and the victorian woman so im still between things at the moment :( Hopefully can get clear idea ASAP! Trying to not think too broad either...

x

Ooh watch it!!! Think you'd like it- I'm 29 and she was my dissertation lecturer- she knows her stuff- I must try and look out my dissertation title- I enjoyed doing it. You like feminism you'll enjoy that film. I also enjoyed studying beckett- who is in charge of English nowadays?

I did Beckett waiting for Godot last year, enjoyed it :) Must look that up thanks! Did you find it difficult to get a teaching job? I wouldnt mind doing secondary teaching its just i did work experience in a primary school and loved it so much :) And kinda puts me off with secondary as it seems its always English with drama and Media and i did neither drama or media at any point of my education...So idk..

Cannot wait to be able to read nice books again...Dickens Bleak House at the moment :/

Neither did I but it's not hard to teach to ks3 level- its something you pick up experience at Pgce- I loved my degree esp when it involved the obscure. I thoroughly enjoyed feminism- it actually turned me into an anti- feminist lol!!

I thought I was going to be a primary school teacher but I like the interaction of teens ;)

Nomes I'm having a very picky day. On strike too and trying to clean the house ready for the in laws coming and I just keep looking for stuff to eat! Thankfully I've only had some monster munch and a bot of chorizo to break into my weeklies!

I'm sure 2 chocolate bars won't show by tomorrow! Xx
