Sunday Weighers... or is it only me?

I've not had a chance to read through everyone's posts but well done to everyone no matter what the outcome!

I've lost a little over 2lb this week so just going to count it as 2lb :D Really pleased with that and hoping that I can keep this mindset up and keep it going for next week.
I've done well with the Wii and am actually looking forward to my next work out later on today when my noms have settled and OH has finished watching his new episode of Dr who.

Are you fed up in general or just with the diet?

Am on week 4 now of very slow losses and I've never experienced this before, it's very disheartening. Nothing I do seems to make any difference.

Missus - how disappointing :( Maybe your metabolism has become accustomed to the plan and it needs a shock to shake it up a bit. How about Success Express or even a vegan week? Just something different to keep you interested and to give your metabolism a kick in the butt. Whatever you do, stick with it :)

Well done to all the losses and STS and I know that for the losses or those unhappy with their result just like me- we will have great losses next week.

Weather due to cool so back to normal cooking practises.

Just this last month, it's all slowed down. Last week I wasn't having enough calories for my size so this week I upped them and nothing's made any difference. I know its extreme and may not be something you'd be willing to risk, but have you thought about having a couple of days off plan - and by off plan i mean COMPLETELY off plan. Fish and chips, chocolate....anything you want really - as i found (many moons ago when i lost a LOT of weight) when my weight loss slowed down and/or stopped, if i had a couple of days of pigging out (well compared to the diet) that I ALWAYS had a good loss after and it seemed to kick start my metabolism and shock my system into working again.
Always worked for me - but whatever you do DO NOT weigh yourself after those two days of eating junk! Its never pretty, but always rectifies itself!
 
The Missus, I think you might try changing things up a little this week - stick to the plan, but have completely different meals. Change breakfasts, change everything. Go back to basics - remember that 1/3 of your meals should be super-free food; makes a HUGE difference to me when I do that, for some reason! Also try drinking loads of water.

More than anything, just hang in there and keep going. You've lost a LOT of weight very quickly, I think your body is adjusting that's all.
 
I had thought about that, someone suggested it last week too. My problem is usually once I fall off the wagon, I can't get back on it. So I would be worried if I "pigged out" then I would find it difficult to get back on plan. What a nightmare!

On top of that, I'm getting the "looks" from my BF and family...like they don't really believe I'm sticking too it. I know they're thinking I must be secretly eating..."how is she not losing weight if she's eating as little kcal wise as she says she is". My BF even said last week in response to my 1lb loss, "oh well, get back on it this week" but I hadn't been off it! I can't talk to my mum about it because soon as I mention I'm not doing so good she starts getting dramatic and saying stuff like "ohhh love PLEASE don't give up NOW"...like I'm being a total pig and pretending I'm being good. Driving me mad.

Honey I don't do EE, I do green so not worrying about the Superfree. If I bulk up on veg then I'm not having enough calories for my size...I feel like I can't win at the moment. It's so frustrating.

A few weeks ago your were bigger and therefore required more calories. What were you eating then? Do you visit your old diaries to look for clues?

Would you consider upping the superfrees and offsetting with high calorie, small volume, healthy foods such as avocado, nuts, dried fruits, olive oil?

Good morning and Happy Easter! Am delighted with a loss of 2 lbs this week, taking me to 76.5 lbs in total.

I feel so pleased with this - April has been a great month for me, and I feel like my weigh-ins are reflecting my eating/walking. I am often slightly over my syns each day, but I eat very little junk through the week, so I'm happy with where I am with this right now.

Woo hoo!!!!!

I have a big smile on my face - I am focused on a couple of goals now; losing 80 lbs and losing 6 stones (84 lbs). Keeps it all manageable and helps me keep going.

Hope you all achieve what you want - I have gained 0.5lb, won't lose any sleep over it but did kind of know during the week that it would be an increase or STS, so am going to buckle down and aim for all 100% days next week.

A STS for me which is a bummer as I was doing so well up until the boozy bbq. Minor NSV is that, although I am the same weight, I feel a better shape due to daily hula hooping. I will be joining Dawnie in a massive effort this week :)

Honey - I do about 15 minutes a day - more if it is sunny as I do it in the garden. Ignore the neighbours lol I have never really had much of a waist, but I have one now! My mum tried it and has asked for one for her 71st birthday next week. My neighbour also wants one. We have started a mini-craze :D

Wow what a really busy thread - I can't keep up.

Well done to all for the loses this week. I daren't risk naming in fear of missing people but some nice steady losses and good goals reached this week. I think the sunshine has picked everyone up this week.

OK I had a really good week, was 100% stuck to around a 9 syn average every day, upped my exercise and went for it and easily drank my 2 litres every day if not double that. Mind in the right place. Was expecting a loss but still got a shock when I got on the scales and had to reweigh myself a couple of times........

I lost 5lbs!!!!!!!

That is the biggest loss I have ever had follows a 1.5lb gain last week but I am so happy with that. Got my 4 stone sticky back and reached 60lb loss so far. Woop Woop! All I need now is the sun to come back out.

Hi have recently started slimming world and am a fellow Sunday weigher, lost 4.5lb the first week and another pound this week. Really enjoying the diet so far, but would be great to share meal ideas and give/receive support or tips.

Extremely unhappy Easter Bunny here - have been 100% all week bar yesterday- went to a friends for a BBQ - ate homemade lamb burgers, salad, some pasta salad, a tiny amount of homemade guacamole, refried bean stuff and a few crisps. Fruit kebabs after. We ate very late- should I put it down to this???

Annoyed as my sneaky peak had me 2 lb under this.

My first gain since Jan :(

Kwise as you said It will come off! As you have done nothing to deserve a gain but as others have said it can be due to eating so late. I'm sure you'll get a bigger loss next week :D

I have stayed the same :S
and im going caravaning to scarbrough tomorrow, really nervous out of my comfort zone and dealing with a small caravan fridge for 4 days :(. So I think this will be my mini challenge losing (i'll say) 3lbs while caravaning. Come on next week!!

Morning guys. Very well done on losing or staying the same particularly this week of all weeks.

Well as it turns out my mid week weigh in (STUPID!STUPID!STUPID!) was nothing to worry about and I've had a 3lb loss this morning to take me to 7lbs. I'm so thrilled.:happy036:

Things I've learnt this week?
*DON'T weigh yourself mid week and get all upset that you've gained because there is nothing that is more likely to send you to the biscuit tin. My scales are going in a cupboard until I need them.
*I can syn my weekly creme egg and not worry
*I can have a cup of coffee daily with sugar - syn it and also limit my coffee intake to 1 a day.
*Mullerlight yoghurts rule
*I can make really tasty and filling food for my family that they like too and don't have to make separate meals any more
*I don't have to be hungry any more
*This is do-able.

Thanks everyone for your help and setting me straight on what seemed like the most complicated way of eating in the world to me.

Well done everyone reporting in with a loss this morning - sorry, there are too many of you to name and I still haven't got the hang of that multi-quote thing that you all manage so effortlessly! :confused:

Kwise, that happened to me last week - I gained 2lbs after being good most of the week, but having a night out with late eating the night before WI - don't worry, it will come off again soon!

I've managed to hit two major milestones this week - lost 3.5lbs (after a 2lb gain last week) to get into the 12stone bracket and get my 4 stone shiny! Woohoo!

Sarah - I see you managed 5lbs - see, we did kick butt this week didn't we?!!!

Right, I am going to go and find a 4st shiny sticker and 'reward' myself with a hot cross bun (synned of course!) :eek:

Happy Easter! I'm back!! Went out last night so weighed early to check the damage of 10 days all Inclusive damage - 1lb off! Have NO idea how! Tried to stick to the plan but gave up after three days abs then just ate three meals a day & 2-3 drinks at night. Dessert either dinner or lunch not both and no snacks. Cant believe it!!
... Probably going to see a 4lb gain next week or something.. *eyeroll* but for now I'm very happy!!!!!!

On to my Syn free eggs for breakfast :D

The missues I'm sorry that you feel upset and fed up but instead of going completly off plan why not add a few extra treats into it to help boost your metablism? Ummm if you don't want chocolate treats then i've heard that Avocado and Coconut is high in syns so maybe add some of those two into your diet to kick start the metabolism?

If a grapefruit daily is suppose to help so maybe you could try that? Oh if you are shredding then it takes about 3 weeks before the results start to show weight wise - As sausage suggested take some measurements :) Just keep at it the weight will come off

Oh i forgot to say that a C told me last week no matter what plan you follow you should have about 1/3 superfree foods on your plate

Sorry if i've missed anyone but i'm in a hurry as my mum's having a go at me as we should be leaving now (got to go to my aunties house) but i'm here on minimins lol
 
Quick question- after yesterday should I avoid SYNS today and return to them tomorrow?? Or should I gave my 10 SYNS on choc??

What Wii game are you doing babe? Always interested as I have a vast array of fitness DVDs but only recently started doing Wii stuff as a viable alternative. I'm just nosey.

Its a 30 day exercise DVD by Jillian Micheals - It consists of 3 levels (Easy, Medium and hard) and you work your way though the levels by spending about 10 days on each level :D Its only a 30 minute exercise dvd and something i would recommened because it helps you to lose inches

I had a Yorkie Easter egg 67 syns :17729: and I went on the lash on Friday night, had about 50 syns then.

Ah well you only live once, and I dont regret it :D and I have been back on plan as of this evening meal

Off to see how you've all got on this week >>>>>>>>>
