Susie and Orbit's daily dribble

LOL Susie, self inflicted then :D

Yes Jimbo, absolutely - and my hayfever is in my eye, making it even redder than it would have been - so, not one of my most attractive days today :D:D

Thx honeybun - although I don't deserve any sympathy! :)

Boy am I looking forward to getting home - but on the bright side have been drinking GALLONS of water :)

Aaaaah you p*sshead!!! xx

Morning all

Sorry I missed you Bren, yes was watching Midsomer, then crashed big time from some new hayfever medication. The pharmacist said "Oh by the way it might make you a bit drowsy..." - What an understatement - slept from 10pm-6.30am without once waking up, and my mobile (which was charging right by my bed) rang twice and I just didn't hear it!

So, am full of the joys of spring today :)

Will be back on the jobhunt soon, my contract is ending in May. they really want to keep me but three people are coming back from maternity leave so two of us contractors are out. It happens. Seems to be more work out there now, and at least this time I'll be Ok for money :)

How's everyone's day going?

Morning Susie, I'm sure you'll be lucky love, it's turning out nice here after a very grey start

Not too bad I suppose, what is the new medication - is it an over the counter one? I don't suffer but the dog does lol, usually give him the odd tablet when his eyes get gummy.

Shame about the job, hopefully you will get something soon - and like you say, money situation is much better for you than it was. Good luck xxx

Hi Susie :wavey:
Gosh hayfever is a pain! I get it all year round so have to take antihystamines all the time - upside is i dont get hit so badly in the season. Hope you can find something a bit more useful (unless you want to sleep some more of course!)

Sorry to hear about the job but glad you are feeling optimistic on the market. If you do happen to have a week or so between jobs then we'll have to meet up for a lovely legal lunch by the river somewhere - we can be ladies who lunch :D

Xxx

Bummer about the job Susie but hopefully the next one to come along will be able to offer a bit more stability - it sounds like they'd have kept you if they could. Any chance the Italy break might be back on?

Thx all - hopefully it won't be a long wait until the next role, and I've still got six weeks to find something.

Moved my Italian break to September so I don't have to worry about losing money if I get a role quickly.

Lunch sounds good Katie, will let you know how I get on :)

Morning all

STS for me this week which is a bit of a miracle, considering two outbreaks of socialising and some carby days. Also think I need to cut back on the shakes and wraps - they are convenient but the shakes aren't very filling - and the wraps are too nice :)

Out again tonight  but have a quiet weekend planned so a chance to catch up here and do some cooking for the coming week.

Morning Susie love
