Don't you dare abandon us, we need you! Interesting about TOTM cos I've been having 2 per month too and until Atkins I would only get about 1 every 3 months or so.
Good luck with SW. I did it before the VLCD and lost 12lb in 10 weeks so it does work. I just don't like going to classes.

some days I wish I could just bung a WW meal in the micro and add some free veg/salad or have some SW friendly skips. Can you tell I've been around the dieting block quite a bit?!
 
I wander round the site reading diaries anyway, I'm resilient to the P words! Personally I think SW's red days in particular look decent, for a very vague sort of medium carb medium gi type thing, and I might well use them as a guide to maintain. My problem doing SW before (gained on it) was that I did green days and ate tons of free pasta and tomato based sauces. And had loads and loads of sins left over for sweets. But I think taking the diet seriously and not abusing it seems to work great for a huge number of people - it's all about what works best for you and if that's SW then that's fab! Good luck with it Xx

I lost and gained the same 4lbs over and over again!
 
LOL don't worry everyone's experience is different (terrible about thise migraines, Lisa - Quorn gave me the trots bigtime - although as volcanic as polyops lol).

Grumble grumble - it's 6pm and I am still at work waiting for a map of a flood region to be emailed so I can send it to a journalist. I want to go home!
 
Hi Susie my darling - you need to do whats right for you so definitely try something else and see how that works and hopefully get better :). However if you even think of leaving us there will be trouble!

It was green days with 6 tons of pasta for me every day too lol. I was never a big meat eater so red days never appealed. Isn't it funny how our tastes change?

Good luck with SW Susie and I'm so glad your not leaving us (says me who's not even doing Atkins at the minute lol)

I was thinking about your comment on eggs - interestingly DH has had to give up eggs as they are causing him stomach problems but he can still tolerate a tiny bit hidden in things (mainly cakes:eek: ) but finds the rest of atkins perfect - apart from still losing weight when he's trying to maintain!. Maybe when you have sorted your sinus problems out you can come back to us to maintain:)
