Slow lazy start to the day, just thinking about a big omelette for brunch mmm

Omelette was yummy, then been chatting on the phone, just ironed some shirts and now it's clean the bathroom time groan...

We have just cleaned and hoovered the guest room and DD play room as guests tonight to stay - hot now!!
We are planning a bbq but hope we dont get thunder storms again - only just managed to cook our steaks last night before it came down

You too hun - cleaning is dam hot work! But bathroom is nearly done now. I am such a dreadful housekeeper, it was pretty bad Just had to have a little rest to recuperate before I tackle the floor (horrible porous tiles, the mop won't cut it, I need to get down on hands and scrub! Prob why I don't do it very often...)

Jim the role goes until the end of May - it was the 6th so I booked my week in Italy for the 7th - then they extended me!

Despite being awake and tossing and turning since 03:47 and having to deal with impossible media deadlines and lots of silly press enquiries about the wedding (street parties, graffiti, yada yada), I feel surprisingly chirpy

Katie - I get both the extension to the end of the month AND the holiday yaye! they realise they have asked me to stay a while ago and knew I was planning to take a break. I'm running a big BBC programme and I think they realised they need me (at last, someone needs me lol).

Come Friday I will be hiding indoors - tellie will be on, tissues ready (because I'm such a blubberer), wine (which will also mean blubbing) and some Atkins chocolate
